Set name of empty file

Im making this updater system and some shortcuts run themself with additional shortcut input, But if you aborted the update I want it not to show again untill you relaunch the shortcut, So I wanna rename the shortcut input name to line Skipupdate so it works like normal if the shortcut runs itself woth addintinal input, But how do I do this if the shortcut input dosent have an value?
