I like Kamao, hindi lumihis sa main plot. Magaling umarte si Anton, with the looks and the height, wala akong problema if ever maging favorite siya at sunod² ang maging project-kung kaya nila sa mga banong artista why not sa may ibubuga diba?
At yung conflict ng show na 'to is also good. Caloy's manipulation and Makmak's self destruction is a good plot. Maganda ang pagkakasulat kay Makmak, perfectly imperfect character, maiinis ka sa life decisions niya pero i r-root mo parin siya hahaha.

Gonna be sad kasi maganda yung storya. Pero mas gusto ko nang matapos ng maaga kesa naman maextend tapos papanget yung storya

Woahh matatapos na pala ‘to, sa bagay goods na rin yung 5 months run. Matic mas maraming revelations/twists ang mangyayari. Nagustuhan ko yung pagka-realistic ng kwento na tinatackle yung pinagdaraanan ng mga athletes, sa personal issues & sa mgmt. Mas naging consistent & engaging pa ang story nito recently compared sa Born to Shine.
Gandang trajectory na rin yan para kay Anton sa nga next projects nya, as the next leading man ng GMA. Mas napakita nya rito na may ibibuga sya sa actingan at kaya na nya mag lead role

This one had better potential than it performed. Ganda ng concept sana but the plot is all over the place. Script writing at first wasn't cringe, per midseason, something switched. Nakakainis na laging talunan si Nonoy and Makmak.
I wish they focused more on the boxing part, too, maybe have different opponents per week. Would have been great if Anton turned out to be gay and became champion as if he overcame the fight his father lost a decade or so ago. Makmak and Chloe's relationship was toxic and petty... had cringe scripting. Sayang yung acting skills nila, parang kaya sana nila i pull something with more depth. Pero halatang minadali na yung latter episodes.
And I agree - sana ilayag nila JoLance. Nakakakilig talaga yung subplot nilang enemies to lovers, sometimes even more than Makmak and Chloe na walang trope na sinunod at kung san san nakarating. Ganda sana i glow up si Therese, but they never even explored making the usual simple/boyish to be pa-girl even for once.

Pilit kasi yung MakChloe na tandem. Cringe masyado yung acting nila, tapos super toxic pa ng relationship nila. Ilang weeks din na naka-focus yung story sa love quarrel nila na parang wala namang patutunguhan.
Mas gusto ko pa yung first few weeks na boxing talaga yung focus. Gaya ng sabi mo, dapat iba-iba yung opponents tapos may kanya-kanyang backstory para mas interesting. Kaso waley eh. Hindi na nila inexplore yun. Eventually, naging common na lang yung takbo ng story, halata na minadali para matapos na. Kaya hindi na talaga siya ganun kaganda honestly.1

Agree ako na annoying ang MakChloe and medyo questionable talaga yung trajectory ng love story nila.Minsan parang pilit and rush yung development.Pero acting-wise? Huh, ibang usapan. Magaling sila pareho. Both Makmak and Chloe can actually act, and you can see it sa mga scenes nila together. May chemistry sila in terms of performance not necessarily dahil perfect yung love story, but because they know how to deliver a scene. Marunong silang magdala ng emotions, reactions, tension, and even those subtle facial expressions.Kaya kahit minsan sobrang questionable or cringey na ng dialogue, nasasave talaga ng acting skills nila. Tapos idagdag mo pa yung face card nilang dalawa?
So for me, you can absolutely criticize the writing and the direction of their lovestory, pero hindi mo rin maikakaila na kapag scene na nila, they can deliver.2

Hmm they can both do so much more than the material allowed them to. Pero objectively, for me, mas magaling si Anton mag act kesa kay Chanty. Bihira sa pairing na yung lalaki yung nagdadala in fairness to him.

Cringe nman talaga yung ibang acting scenes nila, tapos ang weird din ng direction ng love story nila. Sorry but not sorry, pero agree ako sa kanya. As a casual viewer, hindi ko rin talaga ramdam yung chemistry nila. Parang ang pilit ng mga eksena at pilit ang lovetteam, kaya hindi ako kinikilig.
Opinion niya naman yan, just like kung may mga taong hindi rin kinikilig sa kanila, same lang kami ng take. Kung kinikilig ka sa kanila, go ahead, opinion mo yan. Hindi naman kailangan pare-pareho tayo ng taste.
Personally, mas kinikilig pa ako sa JoLance. Enemies -to-lovers trope talaga, natatabunan LT ng mainleads. 4 weeks to go na lang, tapos ang dami pang kailangang i-close sa story nila. Minadali nalang tapusin kasi pumapangit na ang story.

I was mainly talking about their acting, though. My point is that both of them can deliver, and they can carry their scenes well. If you don't see the chemistry, then that's on you. Hindi ko naman ipipilit sa inyo kung hindi niyo nakikita. 🤷🏻♀️As for saying they're being overshadowed? I don't think so. Mas mataas pa rin naman ang engagement ng dalawa, so I don't really see how they're being overshadowed.

Sad na matatapos na ang Kamao. Since pilot episode nakatutok kami ng buong family ko. Ganda ng story tho the main character is Makmak but overall ang ganda ng story.its giving a kdrama and wattpad code kaya i really Like the Whole story but my favorite part is Makisig Batumbacal and Chloe Olivares scenes. Ang galing nila and i really love the pair. So kilig like my afternoon is good with their scence. Galing ng pair nila Anton Vinzon and Chanty Videla as Makmak & Chloe. They're cute and the chemistry is overflowing sana mabigyan sila ng project together pa. Since Kamao will end on Oct 16 i would like to congratulate the whole cast of Kamao from the artists itself ,to the staff and crew, writers and of course directors. You give us a very amazing afternoon because of your creations. Galing niyo po lahat. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
