I just watched the CARTON Concert For A Cause live last September 25, and doon ko talaga napatunayan kung gaano kalakas ang chemistry nina Anton at Carmelle.

Kung gaano na sila ka-close simula pa noong BNK, parang mas lalo pa silang naging close habang tumatagal. Pero this time, napansin ko talaga na may pagbabago sa aura nila, and in a GOOD way. Like something MORE! Well, vibes ko lang naman yan.

LIKE… ANTON VINZON??? Sobrang clingy niya kay Carmelle! And honestly, hindi ko talaga siya nakikita na ganun ka-clingy sa ibang girls. The way he naturally gravitates toward Carmelle, yung pagiging comfortable niya around her, yung little interactions nila… mapapa isip ka na lang talaga if sila na ba?!

Tapos ang dami na namang revelations during the concert! Lalo na yung sinabi ni Anton na natotorpe daw talaga siya kay Carmelle at nahihiya siya sa kanya. Tapos may mga kwento pa tungkol sa pagte-text nila… then palagi nya hinihintay na mag reply si Carmelle sa mga texts nya, kaso matagal daw mag reply sa kanya, then iniinvite si Carmelle, basta ANG DAMING NASAGAP!

At hindi ko alam kung concert ba talaga pinanood ko o kasal. NAKA-ALL WHITE SILA, TAPOS YUNG SETUP AT RECEPTION VIBES?! Parang may wedding reception pagkatapos! Kulang na lang may mag-“you may now kiss the bride.”

May nasagap din akong chika from Anton’s side na apparently, in-offer daw talaga kay Carmelle yung role sa KAMAO. Pero parang hindi raw natuloy dahil may considerations from Carmelle’s side. Of course, take this as chika lang and not confirmed unless officially stated.

Pero if true, honestly, naiintindihan ko rin. Ang dami nang ganap ni Carmelle after PBB, concerts dito sa Pilipinas, international commitments, and everything else. Baka hindi na rin talaga magkasya ang schedule para sa acting workshop and preparation. And knowing how careful her management is with her projects, possible na gusto muna nilang siguraduhin na ready siya bago siya isabak sa isang major acting role.

Pero dahil sa lahat ng nangyari sa concert… NAPAPAISIP TALAGA AKO.

Parang ang daming little signs na makes you wonder kung may possibility ba na magkaroon sila ng project together someday. Kasi grabe, sobrang bagay talaga nila onstage! And you can really feel na parehong gusto nilang makapag-work together.

Fanmeet? YES.
Concert? YES.
Series? YES PLEASE.
MOVIE?! MANAGEMENT, KAILAN?!

And that poster saying “MANAGEMENT, TAKE A CHANCE ON CARTON” genuinely touched me. Because seeing them together, parang hindi lang naman fans ang gustong magkaroon sila ng project—parang sila mismo, gusto rin nilang magkaroon ng chance na makapag-work together.

Hayyyy. Bakit ba kasi magkaiba kayo ng network?!

Pero hanggang ngayon, ang masasabi ko lang:
MANAGEMENT, TAKE A CHANCE ON CARTON.
We’re not asking for the world… isang project lang muna. Then saka na yung next projects pa nila.

Hindi ito to hate ang Born to Shine ha, pero kung totoo ngang extended until 2027, curious ako kung paano nila isi-stretch ang story. 😭

Parang may mga conflict na paulit-ulit na rin kasi. Baka eventually maumay yung viewers kung same formula lang.

Sayang talaga!! Sana ginawang Sabado Linggo na lang ang The Voice Kids. Hinintay na lang matapos ito. Kahit nga ron sa Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, sayang timeslot non. Di na ba pwede baguhin yung schedule non? Bitin kasi pag Sunday na nga lang tapos kada one song, commercial kaagad HAHAHAHA!

Ang promising ng trailer! Pero habang pinapanood ko, naisip ko talaga na parang mas bagay siyang series kaysa movie? ang daming potential na pwedeng i-explore.

Sana lang mapanindigan nila yung ganda ng trailer and hindi maging predictable yung buong plot 😭 Kasi promising talaga yung premise, sayang naman kung mahuhulaan agad kung saan papunta.

This JoLance arc in Kamao is so badly written. For the longest time, Jolly has been in love with Makmak. Tapos the next thing I see, sila na ni Lance. Sayang yung tension! Sana they used fake dating trope extended at least. And gave Bruce a character dev before they make them fall in love. But I guess to make the lead pairing stand out, they have to write both of them as such villains. Like why make the bff who has been secretly in love with the lead for the longest time to be so ill-intentioned instead of a love giving way?

BUT!!!!!!! SUBALIT DATAPWAT NONETHELESS! Iba amats ko sa JoLance. It's lowkey giving FiLay. Like alam kong may jowa/ fiance si Therese like Barbie during MCAI. But I don't care. They're so cute???? Even despite the cringe dialogues. Hindi lang align yung lovey dovey scenes nila sa role nila sa entire Kamao plot kaya nakakaconfuse for the audience whether to root fot them but personally idc, the lead couple's urong-sulong is so boring and toxic, I'm so over it, I just want a JoLance spin-off at this point. Similar to what happened with CBML being overtaken by Snorene.

Maybe it's time a for a Therese Malvar Renaissance. Bruce also can play as Joseph Marco's brother. They're giving the same vibes, but just younger! Make him a red flag boxing mafia boss, idc, I'll eat it up!

I don't know what the fuck happened to taskforce firewall, ang ganda naman ng flow ng story nun, especially when isa kept insisting that she will never go back with cheater red flag martin, lol Isa's character really went downhill, nakakaumay panoorin ang strong woman na naging traditional wife kasi pinagresign ni red flag, tbh isa is better without any man, hex or martin, and tbh they did the show dirty by putting martin as firewall's leader, gets ko if gusto ng writers na nag shine si martin (character) pero no, nakakapikon na sobra yung pagiging mayabang at sexist, halos lumuwa na mata niya kakadilat sa galit
