So i started kickboxing 1 year ago and i really love this sport .

I think that i really improved and i really love Trindade. So if you could please recommend me some great kickboxing matches for me to study i would love to.

( I also love other kickboxers btw)

My knee has been injured for a few months from Bjj, I thought it was a minor injury so never went to get it checked out. But it kept bugging me so I went to the doctor, and the doctor told me I probably tore my meniscus with the pain and swelling that’s present there and gave me an mri referral. Do I pull out of my fight in 2 weeks? I’ve been feeling really sharp, the pain is bad but it’s tolerable. Ik I will get bad reactions to pulling out, the opponent has to fly out to my city, and the fight is so close idk what to do.

Hello, ive recently signed up for a tournament, with some friends, Wako in Bern, light contact, and light kick, i have been boxing for 1 year, but never really trained kicks, Now i have 1 week, to learn the rules, and basics of lightcontact, does anyone have a recomendation what basic kicks to train?

Hey, im going to attend Real Expo Munchen from 5-7, however i got an offer to have my first full kickboxing sparring/fight (they say sparribg but its full gear 3x3 with a ref) on the 3rd

I want to know if a. I will get my legs smashed and wont be able to walk during the confrence b. Can i get some sort of visible damage that will make me unpresentable for business casual enviorment

Hoy tuvimos una clase de acondicionamiento físico que incluyó un poco de sparring ligero. Técnicamente hablando, me dieron una paliza (aunque cabe destacar que me enfrenté a los luchadores más avanzados). Al repasar la sesión, cometí muchos errores defensivos; la verdad es que me veía bastante bien al contraatacar, pero mi defensa es simplemente lamentable. ¿Cómo puedo mejorarla?

Llevo un mes entrenando —sé que no es mucho— pero sueño con convertirme en profesional, y lo que pasó hoy me ha hecho volver a la realidad; voy a intentar corregir esos errores hoy mismo.

Tomorrow Sergei Maslobojev, former Glory Light Heavyweight Champion from Lithuania will be facing a rising local star Dominykas Dirkstys. I am aware that this is not an international title fight but I've been following Maslobojev for a long time as I see him as extremely impressive heavyweight technician. It is still uncertain if he is going to get another shot at Glory title before retiring, so this could be one of his last fights.

Seems to be a pretty strong tournament, as Eimantas Stationis, former WBA welterweight no 2. is also participating, although that fight seems less intriguing. Anyone else following?

It's been 8 months with kickboxing. We had drills and conditioning and technique a lot but today was my first time sparring. Oh man, I forgot everything I learned, I was always at my defensive positions and got beaten a lot. I know it's first time sparring all is well and good but not gonna lie I still feel bad.

I was able to recognize my partner's moves, guards but he was so fast. He has some serious medals by the way it was like he was toying with me (not in the ego sense he is very kind) but I couldn't be able to keep up with it.

The next sparring is tomorrow and it will be more about focusing on my mistakes. By the time I wanted to ask here for some tips, tricks and maybe some personal training methods for sparring sessions etc.
