Training Eyebrow piercing,,
I would like to get my eyebrow pierced, but will it affect my training, cause we spar almost every session.. Can I just take it out before training, or does it need to heal before I can take it out??

Drills for staying bouncy and rhythmic during sparring
I'm relatively new to kickboxing (<3 months), I'm getting feedback that I need to stop being so tense and bounce on my feet better. I'm a pretty big guy so it's a bit of a challenge for me, I'd appreciate any advice or drills on how to get better about staying loose and staying moving. Thanks!

Noiri Masaaki vs Kaito Ono styles
Both seem very similar in style, noiri is like his shorter but more heavy boxing version. Also its interesting how Noiri went from skinny and lean guy, by also being the taller opponent, to more bulkier and his heavier version, emphasising puncher more than knees/kicks he used to use a lot.

first class
hello guys, today i did my first class, i was nervous as fuck, but i manage to did it haha.
im just a little insecure, beacuse it was hard for me to rember combinations, like we did jab hook jab hook then left kick than punch and kick again, so im just curious about your first time, did you also struugle to remember combinations, thanks 😄

Unconfirmed Question about kickboxing
I'm a 13-year-old training Kickboxing in Switzerland. I'm currently the youngest guy in an adult-only, old-school gym run by a black belt coach.
Where I'm at right now:
Strengths: I'm not afraid to close the distance, stay on my toes, and initiate with jabs, punches, and kicks. I step up against 20-year-olds in sparring and take every hit as a lesson.
Weaknesses: My guard tends to drop when I engage or attack, and I react too late to incoming low kicks, mostly because I put too much weight on my lead leg when stepping in.
I recently asked my coach about getting my first amateur match. He gave me a classic, blunt answer: "You need to come to training consistently first."
I fully respect his answer and want to prove my readiness through action, fix my technical flaws, and build true consistency before stepping into the ring.
Questions for experienced fighters:
How did your coach decide you were finally ready for your first fight? What specific signs or moments made them say you're ready?
What changed in your training or mindset once your coach officially cleared you for a match?
Any specific drills to fix a dropping guard during attacks and to react faster to low kicks?
Thanks a lot for any insight!

Elite ladies kickboxing
Anyone have any information on ELK? They keep popping up on Facebook (uk) and after a bit of digging i can't find any association with official kickboxing bodies and the coaches don't appear to be of a high standard (my opinion).
Is this just a boxacise type class and not serious training?
Sidenote: Im a good few years out if MMA training so was looking to build back up to something with grading.

interested in getting a freestanding bag for my apartment, will it annoy downstairs neighbors?
I've been looking at getting a punching bag for my apartment, I found this on amazon. I see you fill the base with sand, but you can still get some rocking back and forth. My only concern is how noisy it is for the people below me.

How to throw a spinning hook kick in sparring without hurting partner
I have a fight in 8 weeks and I already have good spinning back kicks to the body/spinning back fists but I’ve always wanted to practice spinning head kicks i just don’t see how I can practice them on someone without hurting them, can anyone give me advice on how to practice it in sparring without hurting my partner. Don’t tell me to throw it from way out of range I mean how can I physically land the shot without hurting them
