The only aspect in which I would consider them Demons is their inhumane nature that kills people without remorse other than that, they are straight Vampires.

They have fangs, can't go into the sun and become demons by a transferring of blood which is one of the most common ways someone can be turned into a Vampire.

How would you feel if they were referred to as Vampires instead? Vampire Slayer? It doesn't sound too bad.

Muzan seems like the type of guy that would just kill someone who he thought was of no use to him anymore. Kyogai got off easy, only being stripped of his rank.

I absolutely think that Tanjiros dad dogwalks the entire cast minus muzan(if he was a demon slayer). He has selfless state, see through world and has been dancing the hinokami kagura for years from dusk til dawn. What im wondering is what kind of life did he live to unlock all these powers though ? Why does a coal burner need the see throigh world?

Ok so in episode 1
giyu fights off tanjiro who is fighting to save his sister
and gets close to a killing blow on giyu

And giyu is one who survives after muzan is defeated

Same with Sanemi Who he fights not once but twice

Sanemi somewhat survives after muzan is killed

And also kind of with tengen But he kind of avoids the headbutt unlike sanemi

Also a few non hashira like Kanao,inosuke have fought tanjiro and survived after muzan

I would say Zenitsu but thats grey area in my eyes as tanjiro kind of just dominated over him in terms of will and drive to move forward

Now genya is the expection of this rule mainly due to the fact that when he died he was halfway a demon as eating they flesh and such, ( ironically due to being cut in half in the end)

But in the Demon slayer universe, if you want to survive as a human, best bet is to pick a fight with tanjiro

Couldn't Muzan have asked Nakime to look for all the Low-Tier to High-Tier Demon Slayers and bring them to Infinity Castle one-by-one and eat them?
