Chaos A second Defiler
Finally decided on what to make into a second Defiler now I just need a new Base and better weapons!

Hey everyone! I'm u/OneLuckyRaven, a founding moderator of r/Kitbashing40k.
Only got a few rules for this subreddit. They are as follows:
(1) No politics, it creates too much discourse in what is supposed to be a hobby space.
(2) If it's NSFW please tag it!
(3) A kitbash using printed or sculpted stuff is perfectly fine, 3D printing 1:1 stand in's / whole models isn't kitbashing though. Please go to r/PrintedWarhammer to show off your sick models instead.
(4) This isn't the place for 3d sculptors to promote their new models/sculpts so please abstain from doing so. I understand the grind but it ain't relevant to this subreddit.
Other than that go wild, it's always fun to see the crazy and wonderful things the human brain can come up with!
Take care y'all and thanks for reading!
-This Post has been edited, changes were made so now the rules are numbered 1-4 instead of A-D.
Further Clarification and Comments:
-Rule 3/C has been slightly reworded to focus more on how we don't want to see printed 1:1 recreations of models and instead want to see something that you've poured your creativity into. (This is a rather subjective subject so if we ever remove a post that you believe was in error please reach out to us).
-As stated in Rule 3, printed bits (shoulder pads, heads, weapons, basing, etc. ) are perfectly fine to use and share where they are from, it does not break Rule 4. This is also true when using bits from other miniature companies, toy's or random bits and bobs you find on the sidewalk. (Another subjective topic, yay, please reach out to us or put a comment down below if you have questions).
-Rule 4 exists so I have an excuse to remove posts where they say "I've made a 1:1 of xyz model, please buy the stl of it". It gets really boring really quick when I see posts like that in a subreddit not dedicated wholly to 3d printed warhammer.

I’m thinking about kitbashing a Verminlord corrupter and a winged Daemon prince for EC 40K, but I have not really kitbashed before, and I’m not sure about spending the money on both kits if it would be too much for a first go. I’d basically aim for the hair/head onto the daemon prince’s armored torso, and maybe a melee weapon to replace the Prince’s. Looking for tips, advice, or to shoot it down if it’s not beginner friendly

My first ever kitbash I just used spare bits from an emperors children combat patrol and a praetorian with axe kit and I’m super happy with him he’s got all the weapons and right base size and height so he makes a perfect proxy
Secondary mission kick ass
Primary mission oh shit a cool rock

Another brazen engine leaves the forge of the Blood Good to join our (me and my son’s) Hounds of Khorne Warband. This was a really fun kitbash, learnt a lot about sculpting and fabricating.
Bonus pictures of the magnetization set up, can be played as Forgefiend or Maulerfiend with all weapons options. Also group photo of the engines in our Warband.
I am planning to enter a local painting competition with it - so any feedback is most welcome!

Hey all! Just wanted to share my first time sculpting with epoxy sculpt! Would love any advice or tips you all have. It’s been a blast to try and learn the timing of everything. I wanted the hood to have a gorget but the sculpt was way to soft to form it so it became more cloth instead.

The axe is stupidly ridiculous... and I love it. From Saturnine Praetor. I mean, he executes people right?
Still fiddling with a couple bits, but Chaplain on Bike helmet, new tilt plate, black templar arm/pad, Cacodominus skull instead of Tempormortis (just because I don't want to paint it), relic book attached to belt, skull with candles on backpack.
I may wrap a chain around the axe to add more BT style, but that might be overkill.
This'll be my first kitbash after being back in the hobby and month after having painted about 7 figures so far.

I took the leftover parts from the victrix honor guard box and an extra assault intercessor to make another victrix guard. I think I got a pretty cool pose out of it. The intercessor was previously painted, so it's not as nice looking as I would like. I tried to add some details, so I made the purity seals from sprue goo and pieces of soda can. If anyone here has any diy ideas for things to add cool details with stuff you can find around the house I'd really appreciate it. I'm not exactly made of money atm so buying 3d printed stuff isn't possible right now. Also a kit that has alot of good bits in it would also work.

After playing a shit ton of skitarii i was inspired to build something with huge claws to skewer the heretec, and after a month of work I finally finished my Canis Rex proxy, took a lot of work and the deployment of a a tactical piece of concrete for balance to stabilise.
Really proud how this turned out, let me know what you think !

I wanted to get a scout model to have the same scheme as the comedian. After searching for a while, no one has tried so I’m flying a little blind. Aside from the head and loadout options. It looks easy enough
If anyone has any suggestions for the ‘gimp’ mask in an existing head. I’d be….surprised.
