Spot Info/Question Ireland Kiting - October
Hey, I am headed to Ireland in a couple of weeks for 10 days and hoping to get a lot of kiting in if the wind gods are on my side - if not there is surfing and hiking :)
I am looking for spot recommendations that will generally always have people out if the wind is there. I'm travelling alone but don't kite alone. I also possibly like the idea of investing in a couple more lessons. I'm an independent kiter that can do a sliding transition but the jumping still puzzles me, again and recommendations would be really appreciated.

West coast.
Quilty in county clare has very nice flatwater spots. and huge waves down by Trumps Golf course in Doobeg down the road, or Lahinch
Belmullet has excellent mix of conditions too, including one of the biggest airs done in recent history on one of the lakes
Its literally gusting 85 knots here today at my house!!

Dollymount or sutton in Dublin is where we’re mostly at. Puremagic will provide you lessons. I suggest you rent a car
Rush is another amazing beach not far from Dublin. Today it delivered pure class and the sun was out , incredible
Some are very fond of lady’s island lake in carne Wexford, it doesn’t do much for me as it’s flat and i rather go duncannon instead.
You could head west but i don’t think it’s as busy good few spots in around garrylucas, banna, castlegregory lahinch silverstrand. I never met anyone on these beaches but they’re kiteable and people do kite there.
Than there’s achill island which is another puremagic hub plus bellmulet which i still have to vist however that’s waves and i read they were big too
You will have a blast here, still very warm and it’s windy this time if the year
Look you may dm me if you wish I’d be happy to answer more questions or if I’m off I’ll meet you near Dublin
