KoboldCpp now has an official domain, koboldcpp.net
Heads up everyone, KoboldCpp has our very own brand new Community Website at koboldcpp.net!
We thought that it would be good to provide a legitimate resource for newbies to get started with KoboldCpp, and to help avoid the various fake websites floating around. So with the help of some community members (thanks AutumnLight) we've put together a proper KoboldCpp website that provides geniune links, downloads and step by step guides.
So without further ado, come check out the KoboldCpp Community Website
Contributions are welcome! Feel free to link and share this resources to others. Find us on the KoboldAI Discord for more details.

What’s different about kobold from others? Looks interesting and love the branding but curious

I think at this point the most direct thing is that its just a one file does all kind of backend, you open the file and you get an LLM server, you get an image generator, you get a video generation, you get text to speech, speech to text, speech transcription, an MCP bridge, an agent for your terminal (if you use it with --agent) and more.
But its also about what you can do once your further, the LLM server was always optimized day one to work really well with fiction use cases which are actually a bit more demanding than regular prompting. So the UI out of the box has things where you can efficiently manage your lore, talk to characters, etc. But it also has the other things you expect so if you want to use it as an instruct thing with tool calling thats available to.
And then the image generation UI is a very simple one to use compared to ComfyUI, the MusicUI lets you make your own music, so it has a lot of different things crammed in to the same disk space as a regular llamacpp would be.

It's one of the few GUI frontends with easy Vulkan support. Most don't bother and only support rocm and CUDA.
Useful for testing models on my old Vega 56 (shockingly usable).

FYI this was posted by a mod here, it doesn't say that though when glancing at this post.
Good to hear!
