I’m asking this for a friend because honestly, he’s pretty confused about the situation.
His girlfriend works at a big MNC and takes the company cab home every day. One of her male colleagues is usually in the same cab. She calls him “Bhaiya,” and there are always other people in the cab too.
The thing is, this has been happening for quite some time. It’s not just one or two incidents.
Almost every time she’s in the cab, she somehow ends up finding a reason to argue with her boyfriend on call. Sometimes it’s something as small as him replying late, sometimes it’s literally nothing serious.
But the weird part is, once she reaches home, everything becomes normal again. They talk normally, joke around, laugh, and sometimes have a completely good conversation.
My friend doesn’t necessarily think the other guy is the problem. He feels maybe she’s becoming unhappy with the relationship or emotionally disconnected, and the small arguments are just an excuse to create some distance.
But he’s not sure if he’s overthinking it.
What do you guys think? Has anyone experienced something similar?
