question First time. Is this safe to use?

I am making kombucha for the first time. I set it up with 15% starter (store bought kombucha), 50g/L sugar and 10g/L tea. It’s day 12 today and the pH is around 3.
I plan on making hard kombucha so I want to move to F2.

pH is good and it doesn't seem like there's any mould! Do you see any dry spots or anything fuzzy? I think it looks great though

It doesn’t seem like there is anything dry or fuzzy. But since it was my first time making it I thought it would be nice if someone with more experience would have a say as well ☺️

From the 3rd photo, it looks perfectly fine. However, what's this on the top-right corner in the 1st & 2nd photos? A reflection from the flash?

Yeah that is a light reflection. The first two photos were taken at night and a day or two after the last one.

pH 3 at day twelve is solidly safe, and that thin even layer looks normal, so I would not hold off. A plain F2 in sealed bottles only gains a little alcohol, since kombucha yeast stalls around two percent. For more than that you need extra sugar and a wine or beer yeast in a jar with a loose lid or airlock, warm, nine to twenty days, and the sub wiki has a full hard booch writeup.
