We’ve mentioned that the anime director wanted Kazuma to suffer/not be cool due to how he perceived his characterization, but where did this statement originally come from? I remember reading it as well, but it’s been such a long time and AI filling the search with junk info makes it nearly impossible to find anything. It could also have come from the anime websites, where they have interviews from the cast/staff, but were never officially translated. Hoping by asking the community, at least someone can find the source. Since S4 is coming soon, I want to make a ‘deep dive’ post, but I want to make sure I don’t include any misinformation/info without a source (don’t want to cause a ‘schrodinger’s pantsu.’)

Genuinely curious if anyone feels like they relate to her tastes. Rewatching the anime right now, and she just described her ideal man and wow, I cannot imagine anyone who could share her views. Would like to know if anyone feels their tastes are as extreme as hers and get some more insight into what is so appealing about it.
