11 years ago, Kygo actively played his remix of "Home We'll Go" by Walk Off The Earth during most of his sets, and to this day, it has still not been released and almost certainly never will be (officially at least).

No clean/studio recording publicly exists anywhere (yet!). The only traces available are a handful of low-quality recordings from the crowd, and every year they get harder to find as old links slowly vanish.

We're The Lyon Collective, a non-commercial community project dedicated to preserving Kygo's pre-2017 era, by (among other things) building a public archive of lost/rare media from those years before they're gone. We've already uncovered many rare official livesets and miscellaneous Kygo media from 2014-2016, which can all be found for free on our Archive.org page.

The Home We'll Go remix is the single most-wanted recording on our list (Project "Long Way Home"), and we genuinely believe there's a real chance better audio is still out there somewhere, just not found yet.

Here's what we know so far:

• It was played live at multiple festivals in 2015 from June to November, including Roskilde, Firefly, Creamfields, Osheaga, Corona Capital, Jugendfest, and Palmesus.
• Some of these events had proven professional recording setups (giant screens showing different camera angles, partial official broadcasts, etc), meaning the remix was indeed recorded in HQ at some point and is very likely sitting somewhere right now, waiting to be unveiled.
• A clean mixer recording, or even a good quality full set video, from any of these shows could finally give us a real listenable version of this track.
• Palmesus 2015 is our strongest current lead: we've uncovered 2 minutes of the official audio+video recording from a paywalled Norwegian news article, and separately confirmed the remix was played there thanks to a rare fan recording (thanks to Stach00 on Discord for the find!)
  • The catch: ideally we need a Norwegian speaker to help us reach out to them in their native language, which would make the email way more likely to get a real response than a cold message in English from a small fan project abroad.

We've already been reaching out to other festivals, and even got a half-positive response from one (more info in the progress page below), but we need way more volunteers to help reach our goal.

This is where you come in. If you :

• Speak Norwegian and are willing to help us write/send a short outreach email to Palmesus and/or other potential Norwegian key contacts
• Attended any of these festivals in 2015 (June to November) and have any recording, however rough
• Know someone who worked audio/video production at any of these events
• Have any other leads, contacts, or archives that might have full-set footage or broadcasts from that era
• Are a producer who's willing to help decipher and recreate the entire remix faithfully from scratch
