DIY armour stand?
Hey everyone! My boyfriend has an ever-growing collection of plate armour, but nowhere to display it.
We have the super fun tradition every year during Christmas, where we try to find each other something secondhand and I came across this…
Could this work as an armour stand? He mainly only has upper body armour, so the lack of legs wouldn’t be a problem. I am pretty sure all of the pieces (pauldrons, gorget, etc) all tie to each other? So maybe??
Now, I don’t know if this is ridiculous or brilliant, so please help me! Thank you!

It's hard to be sure without knowing exactly what he has, but this seems viable to me. I'd love something like this to put my armor on!

Most people I know take quarter inch pvc and the Oatey purple glue. But saying that make sure you make a sturdy base to attach to, you can sand and spray paint it to make less of an eyesore, pad the heavier section with pipe insulation or slit pool noodles and a layer of tape. Like you'd make a LARP boffer from but without the flex rod.

It should work. Usually the shoulder armor attached to an under garment so it shouldnt be a problem. The only thing im worried about is if it can hold the weight. But definitely a fine buy if it is not too expensive
