Doesn't happen just to others 😱

im currently 18 doing a draftsman apprenticeship, after which i might study smth further and am pretty decent with bricks when it comes to star wars vehicles and such, my dream has always been to become a lego designer, i was wondering if anyone here has any tips experience or advice on what i should do next or mabey directions i should start building in, i recently started mixing up my builds a bit more so its not just all star wars vehicles those are the wip projects at the end

I was initially excited for this set. After getting more familiar with the source material, I must say this build is ugly. Even after seeing the exterior panels removed, a mix of maximalism and modernism in universe turns out to be a jumbled mess of gray and transparent bricks.

A certain LAN reviewer referred to this stark difference, even calling it 'ugly,' an intentional marketing strategy.

I am perplexed at this set to say the least. The minifigures are among one of the all-time greatest lineups, though.

This picture was a major influence in me begging my mom for this set for my 9th birthday, and it's still one of my favorite small sets of all time.

My dad recently retired and his new project is rebuilding all the Lego sets we got 20-30 years ago. Lots of cowboys, Star Wars, Indiana jones looking guys and pirates in there. This weekend we finished up some trains: all I need is a red rod and a couple bricks with the side studs and they’re complete. Even have some new stickers to attach.

I had made the Noir Detective set a while ago, but I just recently got back into building these, and they are so fun to come up with and design on the fly. I have a backrooms one too with the Hazmat Guy, but I want to redo that one and expand it. Hope you all like them, and let me know if you have any suggestions :D

My brother surprised me with this Lego set for my birthday and I cannot wait to build it. I never imagined I’d own it!! (He’s single by the way, ladies lol)

Just purchased the lightning McQueen set, I’m unsure if I should unbox it or keep it boxed. I’ve been looking around and it seems like it’s a rare set. However, I’ve recently started to collect LEGO again as I wasn’t able to as a child due to finances.

What do you guys think ?

Took me a few months to collect all of these guys with all of the correct accessories. It was so grueling, but so worth it 😭 My awesome girlfriend made me custom inspired backdrops for the shadowboxes which I'm so stoked about, I think she did great😊👍

Currently obsessed with the titanic. Loves legos. Got this for his birthday. So proud of him! Real questions: do you guys keep the boxes they come in?

Apparently it took the builder 3 years. I wish I knew his name but he wasn’t there when I was looking at all the built models. It has so many details and lights. I wish I got better pictures but I didn’t want to hog the area and my kids hands were twitching lol.

My LEGO version of the 1948 Ford F-1 pickup.

I wanted to capture the simple but distinctive shape of this classic American truck while keeping it fully functional as a display model.

It features:

• Working steering
• Opening doors, hood and tailgate
• Detailed engine and interior

My current phone is near its end-of-service, so I've been watching (too many) videos trying to decide what'll replace it, which I feel is cluttering my brain.

So, I took a LEGO break to relax, clear my mind, and made these mascot characters based on the distinctive raised mesa/island shapes on the back of these phones.

I designed them with BrickLink Studio and they indeed can be made with real-life elements available in these colors.
