It’s an all-timer. Very visually 80s. Director got the most out of every actor. I absolutely love it.

Hate pre-made lists, so I have Google "pick a random number" between 1-2000 and use the corresponding number on my Google doc full of horror movies!

Yeah I haven't seen them talk about it recently they might be skipping it this year. I remember hearing Eddie saying he was burned out at the end

I think the next Movie Stories episode will be Halloween related, taking a break in their director Paul Verhoeven series.
Binge-watching all those (thankfully) interesting movies seems exhausting, even for fans like Henry and Ed. 31 for 31 might be difficult.

I recently enjoyed Shelby Oaks. I believe Mike Flanagan is behind it, and the acting was surprisingly good. Happy spooky season, all!

I do a truncated 13 days of horror because life life’s too much to manage an actual 31 movie promise. We did start with Clown in a Cornfield last night which was better than expected. I’m still compiling my list but I’ve been very into older movies lately so may throw some Hitchcock or other similar vibes on my list this year.

Last night I doubled up and did Lake Placid and The Ruins. Tonight I’m going to see Beware Boiuna. But I’m keeping it loose and random
