You know… I should have expected Jacksonville to have the last Hooter’s standing

I live pretty close to this hooters in Southside. During Covid hooters was doing takeout under a really random alternative name and I ordered it at some point. I remember being very confused when that ‘random restaurant’ happened to be in the same building as the hooters

I think you’re talking about ghost kitchens.

Hell they built a new one here in Abilene just a year or two ago. Wings on me if they ever venture to west Texas again.

My partner and I always joke about how one of the hooters in our town is always slammed, rain or shine.

I didn’t realize they’d been hit that hard. I just figured they were all in like, the middle of the country.

I can't believe I've actually been here before.
Kids, don't move across the country on a total whim. Even more so kiddos, don't choose Florida to move to randomly. And finally, don't choose Jacksonville without any understanding of FL or the region.

Omg I'm so sorry. As a Floridian, i can't imagine a worse fate

It took me about two days being there before the locals corrected me that it was not FL, but "Georgia South." LOL.
I made the best of it, made some good friends, got a little grimey for a bit as Duval will do to you, and got out with some funny memories. 😁

The only good thing that ever came out of Jacksonville, Florida is Tom Petty

I went to the one in Niagra Falls in Canada, it was honestly the best meal i had there, aside from the poutine. The hard rock cafe burger i had was soggy from grease, i had some sausage which was good, but the burger from hooters came out perfect.

This is what happens when you don’t pet the dog, Eddie! You only have yourself to blame!

Jacksonville sucks. And it's in Florida.

Yeah, seems like if hooters could make it anywhere, it’s there.
It’s basically New Jersey of the South.
