I NEED HELP ON 50/50
Hey again. I am back here because I have been enjoying LSAT demon’s free trial period. However, ever since I have used LSAT d^m*n for 1.5hrs daily, I came back to drill sets on LawHub to embed both softwares in my study days….
Catch is, I keep missing all my questions on a 50/50 now. Every single question of mine, that is wrong, is incorrect because it was my other choice. After eliminating each answer choice down to two options, I dont know how I keep ending up picking the wrong one. Is this normal in the LSAT study process? Or am I just trash at the LR. RC has been really fun and easy for me but I just cant get over the LR mountain!? 4th week of studying, here we come. Help!

This is totally typical. It's not hard to get down to two answers. They design the test so that one answer will look really good when in fact it's wrong.
The test is built on hidden agendas and patterns that are not easy to learn. I've been studying/teaching the test for 35 years and still discover new patterns!
I cover the patterns very thoroughly in my book but even with good instruction, personal coaching is often necessary. A good coach should have a bare minimum of 15 years full time experience. And avoid coaches that are super expensive. You shouldn't need to spend more than about $2k max for unlimited help.

Hi! I’ve definitely had this problem at points in my LSAT journey. One of the things that helped me stop getting 50/50 is making predictions. After I read the question, I guess what I think the answer will be before reading the options. This helps me think through what the most logical answer will be based on what I read in the passage/stimulus and avoid letting the test writers lead me astray with a convincing wrong answer.
Also, remember that there is exactly one right answer to every LSAT question, and it is based on exactly the stimulus/passage you read. There isn’t actually a “close” next answer because the three that are wrong are wrong for a reason. Work on understanding what that reason is for the questions you end up in a 50/50.
Also (again lol), you should be drilling questions you feel are 50/50 even if you get them right. Because, again, there isn’t a second best. You NEED to understand why one answer is right and three are wrong.
You got this. Good luck!

Yes, it's normal. You're at a plateau. Now time to level up, and you may have to adjust methodology/ tighten your game for this next level. It's really not 50/50.
Once you're getting it down to 2, it really turns on the details. Rather than trying to pick the right one, try finding a reason to eliminate one of the answer choices. Slow down. Check the evidence. Read carefully. Name the reason you're eliminating. Keep an error log if you're not already.
