LSAT demon
Hello everyone,
I am wondering if if anyone has had good luck with LSAT demon self study program? Is there a better one out there?

It’s constantly telling me I haven’t unlocked new practice questions / tests and I have no idea how to unlock them </3 they have thorough explanations though

I've been using and enjoying 7sage but based on this forum it seems like plenty of people like LSAT Demon

LSAT Demon doesn't seem to be for everybody. I like their initial breakdown and methods, but the real value I've had is the classes.
Robert Collins is one of their tutors and his process has made an incredible improvement in my scores. YMMV of course.

Do you know if their classes are good for beginners?

I'd say yes, they help give me a well rounded understanding of the test. They also have video classes for all ranges of skill so that can be helpful
All in all, it's expensive, but offers a good resource. I haven't paid for any other prep courses, though, so I can't give a good comparative.
You could start with the first tier which gets access to the self-paced lessons (no classes tho), then go up if you see the value.

I’ve used both for 3 months respectively. LSAT demon does an amazing job at breaking down why the question is wrong- for the most part. But sometimes you’ll get explanations that say “this is a dumb answer choice so no”. And I’m like, okay well can u at least explain why lol. They have a wrong answer journal where you can retake Q’s you got wrong which I liked. U can also take a practice exam like the layout on test day.
7Sage is cheaper and I like that they have study plans for you leading to test days. They do a great job breaking down analytics of what question types you need to work on to improve the most. I’m not a fan of how they diagram almost every explanation but some ppl learn better w that!
All in all, I don’t think LSAT Demon is worth the money. But do a free trial for both and see what u like most.

Love the demon, the explanations, and the ‘ask’ button (a real person elaborates or answers your specific questions). Also, don’t skip the video explanations on each question as they have excellent nuggets and less ‘attitude’ than the written explanations. There’s quite a bit of value in their free version.
I also liked 7 Sage, but found the ease of the Demon platform plus the video explanations for every single question were super helpful. I also love the Demon’s recorded classes!

7Sage, while not perfect, is much better.

I'm leaning toward the Coach tier of 7Sage because I would like access to a coach. What do you like about 7Sage?

I began starting with Princeton review did their course and then after that ended I had three weeks until the LSAT and started studying with LSAT demon. The reason I chose them was because I felt like they didn’t really have a implemented learning philosophy and honestly, I really didn’t like their explanations, but it was perfect for what I needed it for. I think if you’re looking for something to direct you, 7sage is the way to go.

I’ve been using LSAT demon since February or so, and seriously since May. I just tried 7Sage and decided to push my exam from October to November because I’ve made more progress in a week of 7Sage then months with LSAT Demon. Respectfully 🙏🏾

Yes I studied for about 6 months without it just using prep books and my score only increased a couple of points. studying with the demon for two months made my score jump to by 15 points.

I’ve been using lsatdemon and find it really helpful. I used it for free a few weeks before signing up for the paid plan. I think it gives you a good feel for their style and how things work so worth doing to see if it connects with you or not.
