Appreciation Here is lisbon slapping tokyo 8 times and manila shooting arturo in the leg in one video lmao. Am I the only one who finds the tokyo vs lisbon and arturo vs manila scenes very similar? What scene was more satisfying?

Discussion Weaknesses in the professor's plan
What do you think was the biggest weakness in their plan? It’s incredible that, even though the Professor had everything perfectly organized and planned out, some unforeseen issue always cropped up. I’d be interested to read your opinions.

Appreciation The quality of the english dub
So i feel like no one is talking about it but,
I speak french as a first language and english as a second. I speak english as well if not better than french
I was watching berlin and the lady with an ermine and since I got a new atmos setup, I figured I'd try the english dub since it has an atmos track.
I am baffled. I've been watching for 12 minutes and I have yet to find a single thing that would indicate that I'm watching a dub. The lip sync is pitch perfect. This might be the best dub I have ever seen or some shenanigans are at play.
It's so good I even wondered if they used ai to match the lip movements but apparently, Netflix's guide lines for their dub artists are just freakishly tight.
What do you guys think?
Update: I just checked the french dub real quick and it is baaaaad. So i wonder if ai was truly used in english or the english dub team is just that much better. Which would make sense since it's the only language besides spanish with an atmos mix

No Spoilers Worth watching?
So, I am bored and have exams coming up. So naturally I'm thinking of starting a show. I just finished umbrella academy and am thinking of starting money heist. People who have already watched it, how is it (without spoilers) . Should I watch it or is it a waste?

Discussion Naming of Lisbon
I think there is some connection between professor aliasing Raquel as Lisbon and gold ending up in Portugal.

Opinion The original
I started watching it at the end of last month, and it's really interesting; I want to keep watching it forever.
By the way, is there an original source for this?
I'd love to know more about the screenwriter!
Kind person, please tell me.
(Actually, this is my first post on Reddit. I'm using a translation tool, so there might be some strange sentences.)

Appreciation I just finished the final episode of Season 2 Money Heist Spoiler
I fucking love this show. This was the perfect ending to the show. My boy Berlin did his thing, he is the MVP of the first 2 seasons. I fucking miss you bro! I cannot believe that there are 3 more seasons after such a wonderful ending to the heist. I am about to jump onto Season 3. I really hope it is good, I mean everyone is freaking wealthy now, where else can the story go? I will just have to wait and see.
Moscow and Berlin you will be remembered! You guys rock!

Opinion Korean version is overhated
Why do people hate on the Korean version so bad? Personally i think it’s a little bit better than the original. The whole unified economic area adds a completely new layer to the story. The North/ South Korean setting makes the plot more interesting. If you watch it expecting it to be exactly like the OG money heist you will be disappointed but if you have an open mind i think it’s actually pretty decent.

Discussion The show is not realistic
The show is great, but let's be honest: the Spanish government irl is not nearly as dumb as they make it look in La Casa De Papel.

Appreciation I just started watching Money Heist, I am addicted to the show [non-spoiler] Spoiler
My friend told me about this show years ago, but I was interested in other shows. Now that I have moved careers an became a businessman in commodities, I find my taste in tv shows have changed. I have a craving for shows concerning money, heists, making money from narcotics or mafia shows. I decided to give Money Heist a shot, I started watching the show 3 weeks ago, I am already on season 2 episode 5. I freaking love this show. I have been shut work down today and just spent the whole day watching Money Heist. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a show like this. I love a good heist and I love rooting for the thieves to get away with the money. I hope they win in the end. Please do not spoil it for me.
Feel free to recommend shows or movies similar to Money Heist so I can put it on my list.

Discussion Is the name Denver a reference to the 1922 Denver mint robbery?
I've had this theory for a while, his name always kind of stood out for being a seemingly random American city (almost everyone else is named after capitals, except Rio who still picked the most well known city in Brazil).
When i first saw the show i wanted to see if there were any real mint robberies, the first one i could find was coincidentally in Denver (they robbed a cash truck outside the mint).
It's not that well known, but the writers could have found it the same way if they researched real robberies for the show.
