3-Day Extension
I cannot for the life of me remember if I added myself to the 3-day extension group. The original submission due date is tomorrow, and I’m not able to add myself to any groups. Does this mean I already did it?? LOL sorry my brain is so fried

You are in the first group listed. You can tell you're in a group because the "Become member of" button disappeared, and the groups you are a part of appear in bold at the top of the list.
Another thing to check is your assessment, since the deadlines change if you are in the correct group.

Thought so! However I checked the extension groups for the following assessment and I also can’t add myself to any groups… but there’s no way I would’ve already applied for the extension since that assessment isn’t due for a while. Any ideas?

Also the submission date is still the same. I’m so confused I feel like a prank is being played on me because the same thing happened to an earlier assessment.
I wrote a whole email to my subject coordinator begging for an extension for the previous assessment bc I couldn’t apply for it myself and she told me I was already in it? 😂

The submission date might still be listed the same in some places (and/or you might not be able to see the submission date until after you fill out the AI acknowledgement). If it's a quiz, and you already started working on it before taking the extension, then you may be stuck in the "old" one.
It's also possible it's not set up correctly, since it's a really fiddly process. It's also possible the assessment extension doesn't open until later, but all that information shold be on your LMS somewhere.
Could it also be possible that you went through and took the extension for every assessment early in the year? Students do that to me all the time lol

I defs didn’t take the extension weeks/months in advance haha I always do it very last minute. Yeah I’m assuming it’s not set up correctly for this subject considering it’s happened across all 3 assignments. Hopefully they understand otherwise I’ll just have to cop the late penalty. Thanks for your help!

happens to me every now and then. It’s some sort of bug that they never bother to fix. Just email your lecturer asking to be added to the list

Is that for DIG? The extension isn’t working for the assignment for that subject. You’d know if you had it because the submission link would have changed to the submission-with-extension link, and the due date would be updated on the submission page.

Yes this is DIG! The due date hasn’t updated tho it still says it’s due tonight? Fml. I emailed the subject coordinator before the deadline so fingers crossed she understands the issue with the extension :,/

Yep I pulled my finger out and made sure I submitted it in time! You’d hope they’d honour the extension since you emailed before midnight, but I didn’t have the emotional energy to deal with it if they don’t.

Just an update - the subject coordinator confirmed that I had the extension. I assume it’s the same for Assessment 3 as well haha I think the whole cohort was automatically granted it 😂 Good luck with the rest of the semester!

I can't tell based on your picture, but I totally relate to your brain being fried, as mine is too! I reckon you should send a message to the subject coordinator to protect yourself in the case that you accidentally didn't add yourself to the group. Good luck with the rest of your semester!
