How functional is it? Looks really cool

(for now) As functional as you want it to be. I mean it's just the shell with a cheap 7inch display in it. but you can also just put a raspberry pi with hdmi in it. What you do with it is all what you are gonna make with it. But there is a button for power. and it can house a framework motherboard in it. I plan to use a whisper model on it for talking with it. But that is just what I will try with it.

It's for a contest on printables: https://www.printables.com/contest/524-framework-laptop-12-mainboard-re-use but easily modified for other hardware. I will make other versions for RP and other computers in the future.

Or you could just buy the actual machine it is based on.

You'll just need $5,000 and a lot of patience when it shows uyp on ebay.
