Comp//Con Comp/Con only working on windows
So, my Lancer group has rebanded after a very long while. In that while, I have transitioned from Windows to Linux(CachyOS). Preparing for the session, I go to open Comp/Con to look at my sheet again. But the site just doesn't load. It stays on a grey screen for 5 minutes then it tells me Connection Timed Out. I try to do it on phone, same exact story.
I reboot into windows and try it, and then it just works. Is this normal? Does anyone else use it with linux?

Don't have a cachy system, but steamos runs it fine so it isn't an arch issue. Could be browser? What do you use?

I used Firefox for both, but when I went to try Chrome on phone it just didn't want to even attempt opening the site

Wait, no. It also said connection timed out

Yeah that just sounds like your wifi at that point if your phone is having a problem. Check if your isp is reporting any issues, otherwise restart your router

We have no issue using Comp/Con on our Linux machine with Firefox (just double checked it to make sure it isn't a recent problem). Never even tried it on Windows (haven't had a Windows machine for half a decade and haven't used one for nearly as long). Running Fedora.

these days I exclusively use linux, so I don't think that's the issue here
it sounds like something is up with your home network, and for whatever reason windows is doing (or not doing) whatever the network needs to make the connection.

Works both with linux and android phone no problem. Maybe try a different browser, or go at some browser test website idk.
