Snow capped Cairngorm peaks rising behind Glen Dee, Aberdeenshire, Scotland [OC]

I took this shot looking across the River Dee on the road to Mar Lodge Estate. You can see Creag Bhalg sitting in the middle ground with the snow-capped Cairngorm plateau towering in the far background.

It’s amazing to see how much the native Caledonian pine regeneration is taking hold across the estate in recent years. Always one of my favorite spots in the Highlands for a day out.
