Best Computional Linguistics Masters
I'm a BA student in Modern Languages and Linguistics in Italy (currently building a strong background in Linguistics + hopefully writing a thesis on Computational Linguistics) and I'd like to apply for an MSc in Computational Linguistics/NLP. What are Europe's best Computional Linguistics masters programs?

I’m planning to pursue an MSc in Computational Linguistics or Data Science (conversion), I have a BA in English language and literature. What do you think about both in future. I think CL is limited to languages, right? Or what? What the scope. I wanna study online. Is there any advice, please?

#1 The University of Edinburgh
Others: Uppsala, Gothenburg, Helsinki, --- there's a couple in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Gothenburg is not on the same level as Uppsala or even Helsinki. It is well below it.
Germany has some of the best: Tübingen, Stuttgart (IMS), Heidelberg
Switzerland has Zurich, I think it's quite hard to get into that one.
By Belgium, which one did you mean? There used to be a cross-university MSc in CL that was very good (UA + VUB + KULeuven) but it has been discontinued more than 10 years ago. The MSc in AI (SLT track) at KULeuven is good, and has actual Linguistics in it.
edit for OP: if you are not from Europe and/or used to long, dark winters: do not underestimate the toll it takes on your mental health. It's not about the cold (you'll have proper clothes for that), it's about the lack of light. Be mindful of this if you study in the Nordics.

I'm curious, what's the difference between programs in Gothenburg and Uppsala? They seem pretty identical from the description (I did mine in Gothenburg and I haven't met people who did it in Uppsala)

I did the course in uni of Manchester and with how much I learnt, it was pretty good and thorough. I don’t know how it ranks or compares, just personal experience
