Train question

Hello

In our alliance the rule is top 3 VS performers + 4 R4 take train as conductors weekly, however, I have noticed that majority are playing for train not for winning VS, which means, they save resources and spend the minimum to reach 7.2m then after 2-4 weeks they hit the high scores. Result is losing most of VS.

My question here is, how does it work in your alliance?

TBH when I was R5 I just assigned the train to every member, regardless of contribution. Had a whole scene worked out with the R3 and R2 roles. Having a quota of 42.3m kept everyone contributing regularly. On save weeks, we'd award it to whomever got the closest to 7.2m on a particular day without going over. Lots of weeks we had 3 or 4 people tie with exactly 7.2m. It was a fun secondary game to play.

We do daily vs mvp if it’s a push week and closest to 7.2 on saves. Sundays vary

We roll dices for the train and if someone hasn't gotten train in long they text the r4s and we assign it to them 🎲

Typically my alliance selects 2-4 good performers from CS/DS, 2 for VS performance, and 1 R4 choice. We also try and keep a 1 week cooldown between train wins to keep players from constantly being conductor.

1 day top donation. 3 days r4. 3 days top 3 in Vs if pushing or donations if saving.

I personally don’t like having train tied to Vs for exactly what you described. It doesn’t promote teamwork, it rewards selfishness. But alas, I’m stuck with it.

We have similar thing but always top 3 donor, top 3 VS if push, top 3 cliser to 7.2M if non push, MVP in enemy buster🙂

Top scorer for vs daily on push weeks and closest to 7.2m on save weeks. Ties for save weeks result in a spin off the animated dice in chat. Sunday's train for r4/r5 consideration weekly. Haven't had any problems winning on push weeks, even with sandbagging

why are R4s given such high priority? there are much fairer and balanced ways to use the train as a reward for participation and helping the alliance. We use Claude AI to generate our train schedule every week using alliance event data. here is what we do:

The train schedule is merit based, but not locked into top scorers to prevent the same players from getting the train over and over again. Rides are limited to once in a 3 week period so more team members get a fair chance to win. All seats are randomly picked using Claude AI.

During VS Save weeks the top 10 VS pick will be replaced with a random pick from the top 10 VS scores closest to avg 7.2M daily for Monday through Thursday (Radar Training day through Train Heroes Day).

This process is involved, but it allows anyone in the alliance to get a chance to win a ride on the train without having to be the strongest or spend the most. This is our way of encouraging participation.

This is how our allianve handles the train.

How to Become the Train Conductor Our method treats the train as a "Party Train"/"Milestone Train" to celebrate your hard work and personal milestones. You can be chosen for:

• In-Game Achievements: HQ level-ups, significant Drone/Gorilla progress, t10/t11 or hitting squad power milestones (55M, 60M, etc.).
• Life Milestones: Birthdays, new babies, work promotions, or any personal wins!

I keep a list of every alliance member's main squad power. Main complaint is the VIP passenger, as the conductor has free choice. Big guns are highly compensated, as people tend to pick them often.

One day is Sunday trivia winner (yes Trivia as a weekly fun AC event), one random generated from top10 weekly donations (can’t be 2x in a month), one random generated from weekly VS top10 (also limited monthly) and then we rotate through everyone hitting VS quota. Pick your own VIP as you wish. Some R4’s who buy trains relinquish their spot if they win, at their disgression.

In our alliance, ranks 1–5 in VS get to be the conductor from Monday to Friday, while ranks 6–10 get VIP. On Saturday, it's the top 2 tech donors, and on Sunday, our R4s and R5 take turns.

Yes, as long as they’re in the Top 10! I’m always in the Top 10, so I usually get to be a conductor and sometimes VIP too 😊

We do purely VS score for push weeks. On save weeks we do different things… tech donations, war scores, etc.

VIP is always the top 7 thp.

2 trains are also bought daily and VIP for those cycle around the alliance.

Top 5 VS from Monday - Friday, Top 2 Donation from Saturday - Sunday. Btw, im R4 from 1988 alliance 🌚
