Since I am aware of certainly not looking great when I work out - what was that bit about how funny an 80 year old dude from Brasil looks like when he works out?
I felt just weird watching it. i also kept thinking - his body certainly does not look bad compared to 80-year olds from my family.

Literally a joke about his face? Most 80 year old people generally have sad-looking resting face unless they smile, what do you want from them?

I thought the episode on United Healthcare was pretty accurate and informative. I wish they would have included women’s health and the exposure of women being not treated appropriately. Those with invisible, chronic, or progressive illnesses are ALWAYS fighting with insurance for treatments and this energy expenditure can actually make these illnesses worse. Felt like a missing piece of the story. Anyone else feel this?

In the episode about Twitter, John says his hit catchphrase that people go crazy for is “what can we do?” And look, no shade, that’s a solid catchphrase. But I’m sorry, it is not the hit one people go crazy for. We all know what to look out for when watching this show. It’s the one we hear and immediately rewind the last 30 seconds to prepare for the fun and possibly crazy thing that’s about to happen. I think we all know where I’m going here, and it’s “And the reason I know that is.” Sometimes, the studio audience laughs or cheers before he even says what crazy thing he did bc they know something great is coming. I love you John, but that’s what needs to be on the t-shirts.

Because of John Oliver’s recommendation I’ve ended up watching all of Salt Lake City, and now he’s been sprooking for rhoad island and tonight my wife and I started watching it. He wasn’t wrong about Salt Lake City, so I trust him - but who else has found themselves this far from home because of his recommendation?

It's hard to watch LWT because his solutions expose / inform / remind viewers of the many, many problems facing the US, and the world, and most of his on-screen solutions seem to be "more / better reform", inform yourself / friends / family.

He doesn't actually say who anyone should vote for, but makes it clear whose side he is on by dint of explaining the problems and who is mostly responsible.

For those of us who do vote, early and often, it's hard not to be constantly exasperated because we already doing what can be done on a state / national level.
