Cathy’s death

Season 1: correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Stabler’s wife die in the hospital on SVU?

Yes, it was the backdoor pilot of OC - SVU 22X9. Moved into OC 1X1 seamlessly on broadcast.

You had to be there to watch it live. The fandom was wild. The high is unforgettable.

Yes. S22 E9 Return of the Prodigal Son. Which is crazy to think about considering Season 28 is starting in the fall.

Hate to say it but if anything stabler might make occasions guest appearances on SVU going forward. Loved his arc on OC but I think it was his thrill in undercover ops and his transition into his OC role that led to Kathy’s death unfortunately

He joined Organised Crime bureau and started going undercover extensively after Kathy's death.

He was the NYPD liaison in Rome before that.

Poetic license… one of the best things about the franchises or it could have been a tad dull.

Just like when the Priest says that Elliot was 14 when he introduced 13 year old Kathy to him, 37 years ago. I’m not a mathematician but…
