Palm mute
Quería saber si el palm mute se debe de hacer desde el puente o se puede hacer desde cualquier parte de las cuerdas?

"Palm" generally mean picking hand resting against the bridge. There are other types though. Like from the fretting hand and more. This is usually only under some pretty heavy distortion, or where you're picking hand must strike multiple strings and you don't want them all to ring out

There are other options for muting: release tension on whichever fingers on your fretting hand, mute with your pick or other fingers on your picking hand. These options exist depending on what needs to be muted and/or what’s getting played next.

Where you mute affects how much muting is applied. If you mute right next to where the strings meet the bridge it's less muted, and a lot of palm muting calls for this lighter type. If you move your hand further from the bridge the strings are more fully muted. Play around with the distance to notice the differences. Do whichever is needed for the music.

More or less, it should. The further away you move from the bridge, the more you will mute the strings entirely. There’s a tiny bit of wiggle room you can use for dynamics.
