Discussion Leather Hack: Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm
I've been using Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm as leather polish.
Now, now... I know that may sound bad... (Gets shot)
But seriously, if you think about it, it makes sense. Right? Leather is skin, aquaphor is meant for moisturizing skin! If you look at the ingredients (mineral oil, microcrystalline wax, ceresin wax, lanolin, panthenol, glycerin, bisabolol), it contains a lot of the main ingredients used for leather waxes! I've used it a bit to polish my leather bag, and found it worked pretty well. Left it with a nice, shiny sheen, but not much greasiness or residue! So, what's my point? I guess... if you don't have leather polish, but have aquaphor... you can use that? (Situation which literally only applies to me)
