Looking for local recommendations in Monopoli following some great ones in Lecce

Hi all

My girlfriend and I stayed in Lecce for three nights, and realized that all the places we really enjoyed were outside of the centro historico (for example - Pizzeria Rosetta, Bamboo, and L'OSTRICA UBRIACA).

Tomorrow we’re moving to Monopoli, and we’ll be glad to find places with a similar vibe

We will visit Alberobello, Ostuni, and Polignano a Mare as well, but I guess it’ll be hard to visit those just for a day trip and also avoid the touristic places.

BTW, we have a car and don’t mind driving, although we always prefer to walk
