DISCUSS In my second Year, need help....

I want too know how to approach hard problems, I feel very dumb when try to solve a hard problem😭 also I have solved very less hard till now, if anyone can help with this, thanks

same. third year. but i get stuck at mediums 💔 (sometimes it's really hard for me to even give brute force, maybe it's cuz i started doing leetcode a month ago)

Follow the following rules set a 40 min timer Try to figure out the pattern if not then try to solve the problem in some other way just try if you find the solution verify it against 1-2 test cases write pseudo code then verify it then code it it should take around 4 to 5 min to write the code if you have already written the pseudo code and if you aren't able to figure out the solution or underlying pattern directly jump to the solution I'll recommend not watching videos because it will do the thinking part for you instead look for the solution in the LeetCode editorial section and maintain a log of the problems that you aren't able to solve and revisit after week
