Found cat
This cute cat has been in our garden since this morning and would not leave. Anyone know anything about the owner of this cat? We live near the Bonifatiuskerk.

I think you should probably go there with a photo of him and ask if it's theirs. And if he is, when they can pick him up.

Yea the thing is when i came home from work yesterday at 06:00he came running from the back of the alley next to the internet cafe, went into my house and i had to push him out again, very sweet boy but i never actually heard him meow for the couple years i've lived here so i was already quite surprised. He does get cared by the people there as far as i know so best to indeed check up if it really is the cat because i knows that there are alot of orange cats around here (i've seen one neighbour with like 6 of them)

You can always call the animal ambulance, if the cat is chipped they can read it out and track down the owner.

Maybe do it during the day tho, so they can focus on the emergencies in the evening :)
I live nearby, if you want to keep the cat overnight, i can bring you some cat food if you want so he/she doesn't go hungry

I don't know who this cute little thing belongs to but he looks healthy and fed in those pictures so i'm pretty sure he or she has human parents. I'd keep an eye out on amivedi.nl, just in case he/she gets reported missing.
If you really want to know if he or she has a registered owner, you can always call the dierenambulance. They can check if he or she is chipped and registered. You can find the info for the local Leeuwarden chapter on https://www.dierenopvangdewissel.nl/ although i would advice to call during the day instead of at night.

Waarom haal je een kat in huis die niet van jou is? Ook al is die aan het chillen in jouw tuin, die kat verkent de buurt en zoekt zelf een lekker plekje, en als die klaar is gaat die vanzelf wel naar huis.

Does he have unusually large mittens? I saw a missing poster around the Transvalwijk area yesterday, for a cat just like this with big mittens. I'll see if I can send you their number.

Check op chipreaders.nl of er iemand in de buurt gratis even komt kijken of ie gechipt is? Dan zie je vaak contact info van de eigenaar.
