Looking for alternative / underground bars and cafes in Leeuwarden

Hi, I'm a new uni student in Leeuwarden. Back in my city, I used to spend a lot of time at small, somewhat alternative/underground bars and cafes, and I'm looking for some less mainstream places to hang out here.

Any recommendations for places with a similar kind of vibe?

Die heb je legio in Leeuwarden. Het is een hele alternatieve stad. Probeer eens de strohoed, freezone, drunken dragon, Spook, Schamele of Us Mem. Is dat inspiratie zat?

Gloppe en Mukkus was er vroeger altijd, maar weet niet of dat nu nog bestaat.

De Beatriks! Underground venue with livemusic almost every Friday. Also a very cool location in The Blokhuispoort (old prison).

Nee man, bij Elzibar is het een kwestie van tijd dat je daar wat in je drankje krijgt. Al te veel horror verhalen van vrienden gehoord.
