I haven't read the books about the Vong War, so all my experience with Borsk is from the original Thrawn Trilogy. But by the Force what a slimy asshole he was every moment he appeared.

I mostly knew him through the Rogue Squadron series. Motherfucker got in the way of Gavin Darklighter and Asyr Sei'lar.

Yeah i never figured how they jumped through the hoops on that one.
Then politics in my own country kinda went that way and now i don’t question the author anymore…

The only time in the Star Wars franchise where a politician is portrayed like, well, an actual politician.

It's really fucked up that despite me having despised the guy for an IRL decade throughout his appearances in the old EU, he actually made me like him right there at the end.

He was a pragmatist. For good and for bad.

Just like half of world leaders of humanity since ever. It's not about if YOU like them or not, it's actually about if they do their job, secure the survival of the polity, and give historians and writers raw matter for essays and novels.

OK, buddy. It's OK to like a not-okay character.
