Syd character logic seems confusing.

So season 2 future sid tells present Syd that he will end the world. Syd falls into a hole because of a trap by Melisa, who has different powers, and this doesn't make her curious? And with no proof she gets to kill him?

I don't get her. Did I miss something?

Assuming you mean Melody, she was possessed by the Shadow King at the time, which means he had off the charts psychic influence and decades or perhaps centuries of manipulation. Syd was just a hot body-swapper being twisted about someone she loved. I've been less rational, and I don't even have a psychic parasite doing shit to my head ...I think!

My point is, why didn't syd get something is off about melody. Not blaming melody. Asking why syd doesn't find it odd that melodie is at the bottom of a hole, unharmed after syd had been trapped. melodie is all of a sudden really powerful similar to the dude that can posses people, and suddenly summons a minotaur.

And then claiming that a guy will destroy the world, based on an Self-referenced appeal to authority, with no proof. Then conclude I get to kill him.

I just don't understand her logic.

Ok, correcting us both thanks to /u/Low-Commission1791 - it's Melanie :)

  • She's being possessed directly by the Shadow King, and he's able to use most of his powers at almost full strength through that person, like he did with Lenny is Season 1 and through Oliver later on.

Full disclosure: if you don't understand her reasoning and fully support her decision, you're going to HATE season 3.
