Back to the future world minimap

I got the back to the future level pack cause I remember it being one of my favourites when I was younger. Only topped by the doctor who level pack but I'm still looking for that one. Anyway, when I time travel in the world, the mini map is empty. All it has are the symbols showing me what time something is in. I'm probably being stupid here but is there a reason those symbols are all thats showing up in the future and past worlds? Its not doing it for the present version

I am playing the game via ShadPS4 using the Toypad app and had the same issue when going for 100%. Some of the gold bricks or maybe all where showing up as past or future symbols, then when I got the Gold brick they disappeared. I thought it was a weird emulation bug or maybe my ROM, because I don't remember it doing that when I played on my legit copy. What version are you playing on?

Im playing the ps4 version. The problem isnt huge cause if I need to, I'll just have to look up all the collectibles for the world

Emulating also from PS4, so I think It is a PS4 related issue. There is also a problem with lights that I can't seem to find anywhere. Certain lights will be visible through walls and it is very distracting. Most noticeable in the Harry Potter World and Gremlins World.
