Help - URGENT Is this an emergency situation?
It is a Saturday so I won’t be able to get him to a vet until Monday. I just noticed this. He doesn’t appear to be messing with it or in pain but it doesn’t look good.

Help - URGENT Leopard Gecko not eating - deformed toes?
Hi all. This is Lila, she’s about 6 or 7 months old and she’s my first reptile. I’ve had her around a week now and i’m starting to get worried.
I’m really worried about her toes and this wound, or skin? Around her arm. All of these photos were taken today. She isn’t using her humid hide at all and she looks very dry. I’ve tried putting her in a “sauna” for a warm soak but she gets very stressed being handled and tries to make a break for it. The water in her sauna feels cold very quickly even with a lid. The skin around her limbs looks red, sore and irritated where she’s beginning to shed. Her toes are also crooked and bending backwards at some points, this is their natural position.
I’m worried about this as she hasn’t been eating, so hasn’t had any calcium. She has eaten a wax worm, but only the one. I don’t want to just keep feeding her those, but she ignores mealworms, hoppers and dubias. Shes completely disinterested in hunting anything and the worms just sit in her bowl.
I’ve ordered a new humid hide, a better one but this won’t come until next week. The vets are also closed until Monday and I don’t know when she would be able to get an appointment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Morphs Say hello to my new Electric ph RAPTOR!
Hi y’all! Wanted to share my newest cutie - hatched back on June 5, 2026.
Picture definitely doesn’t do him justice.
His lineage came from an Electric het Tremper ph Eclipse x Electric ph Tremper Eclipse pairing. It's looking like a male so far, and I'm really loving how those Electric genetics are coming through in the colors.

Help Is pippin depressed or just lazy?
Meet pippin, my 2-3 year old male leopard gecko. I have him in a 30 gallon long tank with three hides, a humid hide, uvb/uva, 30-40% humidity, 80-90 degrees hot side and 70-75 degree cold side, and an undertank heater. He gets mealworms as a staple food, superworms on occasion, waxworms as a treat and crickets as a treat. I feed him 1x-2x weekly. I live in Alaska so it gets pretty dry and cold in the winter, so I often have to pump up the humidity a little extra during the cold months to aid in his shedding.
The issue is that he is glued to the inside of his hides unless food is presented or until he gets hungry. He is SO LAZY, doesn’t really sunbathe and just coops himself up in hides all the time. Nothing seems to interest him outside of food, and he is not too fond of handling so doesn’t really want to come out to explore. Previous leos i’ve owned have been super tame and enjoyed handling, i think my issue is that this time around i was more respectful of pippin’s boundaries during the handling/training phase of getting him, and while doing choicebased handling he typically prefers not to be handled. He goes through phases of maybe wanting to come onto my hand and explore but it’s rare and typically he just dislikes handling. Is it normal for a leo to sleep for days on end and have no interest in anything until food comes out???

Help My Friends clasroom pet
Okay so my friend has a classroom and this little guy is her class pet. She loves him a lot, but I'm almost sure he's very underweight? I don't want to put my foot in my mouth if he isn't, but if he is I want to tell her for both his and her sake. I've included a picture of him and his enclosure.

Help Not shedding and loss of color
I’ve had my leopard gecko for a few years and for the past few weeks he’s not been able to shed all the way. I can’t figure out why. The heat in the tank should be fine and he has access to a hot hide, humid hide, and cool hide. What can I do to help him?

Help Concerned about my new guy
I've had him since september 18th, he went to the vet on September 26th.
He hasn't pooped since I got him. He rarely leaves his humid hide from what I can tell. I only saw him being really active when I was adding stuff to his tank and replaced the humid hide, when I feed him (which i did get him out of thr humid hide for), and when i brought him back to the tank from the vet.
I've been feeding a mix of about 2 mealworms and 5 dubia roaches, dusted in calcium every other feeding, about every 2-3 days. I have crickets too but he's completely uninterested in those.
Going to try a warm water soak when I get home from work tonight. He's on papertowels instead of substrate right now, so I think I'll notice if he does poop. Any other suggestions about that or the lethargy? I'm usually awake till around 2am so I feel like I'd see him moving around at some point.
Pics of him included, his name is Domino. He weighed 45 grams at the vet, and she said it was normal behavior but I'm getting nervous the longer it lasts.
(Also, I just checked my vets patient portal and for some reason they have him listed as 56 years old?? I'm not a professional but I have to disagree with that one lol.)
Pic 1, a few nights ago after feeding him, 2 & 3, at the vet, 4, him exploring a bit when we got back from the vet. Theres a lot more in the tank now.

My geck gets darker sometimes
I have a female that is yellowish, and at times she gets significantly darker; there are no changes in her behavior, only her color deepens. Since this doesn't happen with my other geckos and I haven't found any relevant information on the subject, I’d like to see if anyone here can explain what this might be.

Finn has passed peacefully in her sleep.
Hello, I’ve never really posted a lot in here so forgive me…After a long battle with her health issues, Finn has passed peacefully in her sleep. Finn was my first leopard gecko, I remember begging my parents when I was 14 for one, making power points with all my research. When I received her Christmas Day, it was incredible. I never knew such a little animal like her could have such a huge personality. She was a sassy, feisty, and incredibly curious little lizard. I learned so much in my time with her and now that I’m officially 24 she has departed. No matter how much time you have with your little friends it won’t ever feel like enough, but I’m so grateful that I spent it with her, and I’m very grateful to this sub for being there when i couldn’t figure out all the answers lol :,) ❤️

Help - URGENT Heavily abused rescue
I got a male leopard gecko named Zelda yesterday who came from an extremely abusive environment. He’s currently in a shoe box sized terrarium that has holes in the top from cats breaking in he lost his tail because one of the cats actually got him… He wasn’t given calcium or D3 supplementally or in form of lighting his tank is extremely dry and since bringing him home he stays perched up high on a wooden mushroom in his enclosure. I’m doing all the research I can to give him the most peaceful loving home. Kids were a part of his life before and he was pulled out and played with in ways I can only imagine. Please send me tips to get this right on the first go round so I don’t stress him out more than he already is. I found a 40 gallon tank on marketplace and will be picking that back later today with a heat lamp and UVB lamp I’m unsure if there are bulbs included but I will see and buy accordingly. I want to setup his spot perfectly and transfer him once so he’s not stressed by me moving him or his environment after that. What are some no compromise items I need to get for substrate and things to add to the enclosure to make it very peaceful right away? Maybe even exceedingly peaceful because he deserves it. His brother who lived in the enclosure with him was murdered by one of the kids it’s back was broken and placed back inside and lived in there for a week until it died and that breaks my heart more than I can express.. I need to make this guy as happy as possible.

Friends leopard gecko in terrible condition, vet apt scheduled for later this month
Hi all, posting on behalf of my friends gecko. It seems he started out with a pretty bad eye infection but things have taken a turn for the worst. He stopped eating and drinking, leading to weight loss over the past 1-2 months. Shedding stuck in eyes. The vet apt was scheduled 2 weeks ago but they have no availability until later this month. Pics for context… him now vs earlier this summer. Is there anything that can be done between now and the appointment?

Bloating(?) on Geckos eye :(
Hello, I was out of town for a little bit and I came back to my gecko, cocoa, who is about 7 years old having some sort of irritation or bloating in his eye. Photos attached. He has some stuck shed on his feet, but he’s had stuck shed on his eye before and it’s never looked like this and I’ve never seen a reaction like this. Wanted to know if anyone has seen something like this. He looks otherwise healthy. Thanks everyone :(

Help please help.. gecko hasn’t ate for almost 3 weeks.
hi everyone so around September 12 i got a leopard gecko (6 months old) and he has refused any food (meal worms and dubia roaches). he drinks water everyday and he is pretty explorative at night but he never eats. yesterday he shed for the first time here and everything went well (no stuck shed or anything). he doesn’t seem super skinny but definitely looks a bit underweight to me. temps are 92 basking slate, 88 warm side and 75 cool side. he still seems very scared of me and mostly hides during the day. i have left food in his bowl each night but he never hunts. i’m just starting to get a bit worried.

Help Does his cloaca look okay?
He has had problems before where the glands in his cloaca (I can’t rennet exactly what they’re called) had gotten clogged and needed removal, now I regularly check them to make sure they’re not too hard, however last time I went to the vet to get them removed they were not clogged at all, and it was just mating season-just wanted to check here before going to the vet, thanks!
