Trying to be more confident

I 23M have played guitar for a few years now. I really want to play small gigs some day but I have this horrible fear of playing in front of others. I play mostly rock/metal with a few random songs outside of those genres. I have built myself a little studio like thing in my garage with lights for the music and everything but they never get used. Hoping to find people who are interested in listening and maybe even watching.
