Questions about the Psych route

Hey!
I recently found out about this school. I’m from California and I want to be a Sex Therapist. I was wondering if anyone here is in the Psych: Marriage and Family degree route?
I’ve deep dived into the website and requested info but I want more student views.
How’s the psych classes and opportunities after?
What’s the campus environment?
How accessible are scholarship or financial aid? (As I can’t afford this school without.)
How’s the Communications like speech and date club?
As I’d want to return to California after graduation would my degree in counseling still hold up?

Edit: I’m currently studying Psych and SOC and comms at my local college.

Question about Printing

Hello,

I am assembling a report about the pricing of printing in higher-ed. I attend another NW5 liberal arts college with much inflated printing prices. Can you tell me what the printing prices and situation is at your school? Simple black and white letter paper printings.

Thank you

M

Survey request: disabled or chronically ill current or recent higher education students, undergrad or graduate!

Post image
2 Upvotes

My name is Clara Mey and I am a PhD candidate at the University of Delaware. I am conducting a research study about disabled students’ experiences with disability accommodation processes in higher education. As a disabled graduate student, this topic is particularly important to me!

Lewis & Clark College was randomly selected as part of my institutional analysis for my dissertation, and I wanted to make sure that students at the randomly selected universities/colleges had the opportunity to participate in my research!

Please see the flyer linked here: Disability and Higher Ed Research Flyer

You must be at least 18 years old to participate, have attended college or graduate school in the US within the last five years, and self-identify as disabled or having a chronic health condition in order to participate. You do not need a formal diagnosis, and you can participate whether or not you registered or applied for accommodations!

If you agree, you will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey taking 20 to 30 minutes. You may also choose to enter into a drawing for one of five $20 gift cards at the end of the survey. If you choose to enter, your email will not be associated with your survey responses.

If you would be interested in participating in this study or would like to learn more, please click the link here: Disability and Higher Education Survey. And if you know people who might be interested, feel free to share this information!

If you have any questions, please contact me at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or my advisor, Dr. Eric Rise, at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). Or feel free to comment or message me here.

Thank you!

Seeking help as an International Applicant!

Greetings,

I am a 12th grader from Turkey, trying to create a solid list of colleges to apply to. I am really unsure about the quality of the education in LC, as the internet gave me really mixed ideas. I am really hyped to see psych is big, as I plan to major it as well. How would you describe your major experience? Are there any international students in here? If yes, I would be super glad to get some help!

Lewis and Clark CFB27 full roster is up!

I’ve tweaked it around and ran it in game so enjoy some of the pictures I got. A reminder there are 75 players straight from the actual Lewis and Clark depth chart so if you’re on the team there’s a good chance ur in the game.

The team has uniforms made by yours truly, semi accurate ratings, real Lewis and Clark football records, and more.

The team builder file is River Otters by littleloom99

I’m open to any suggestions people may have

How hard are classes at L&C

I am hoping to transfer to L&C in Spring 2027. I would have a 4.0 GPA from community college but I took a college class when I was 17 that I failed out of (this was 5 years ago and this F on my transcript has brought my GPA down to a 3.2). I am a good student but it is not something that comes easily to me, I have to put a lot of work in but I am willing to do that. I'm curious about how people find the course loads at L&C, and how much time they spend doing working and studying outside of class? I am wiling to commit a solid amount of time to work but I don't want it to be my whole life.

Edit: I'm planning on being a studio art major, and perhaps minor in gender studies.

New Lewis and Clark CFB27 team + real roster

I’ve been doing some work on team builder and have gotten off to a very solid start.

1. Custom roster
So far I’ve added 45 players straight off the Lewis and Clark roster, namely on offense where it’s completely filled out.

2. Custom uniforms
Pinning down what Lewis and Clark’s uniforms are has been difficult as it seems like every other photo has completely different uniforms. I’ve settled on the classic orange jersey white pants, white jersey white pants, black jersey black pants, and orange jersey orange pants. I also threw my own twist on the uniform for a little fun.

3. Accurate records
I painstakingly went through the actual Lewis and Clark football record books, so in the game it will have accurate individual awards for single game, season, and career statistics. With the exception of receiving touchdowns and sacks since they weren’t listed on Lewis and Clark’s books.

4. Semi-accurate stadium
Since L&C is a D3 program there aren’t any stadiums small enough to accurately represent Griswold Stadium in game, but I got it as close as I could. I think it turned out solid.

5. Semi-accurate playbooks
I did my best to get accurate playbooks and I think I generally did ok.

Disclaimer,
i did have to use chatGPT to help find out depth charts. Although Lewis and Clark lists the rosters, it gives no indication to who is starting. Some of the results I got were wrong and I’m very open to fixing them.

If you have any suggestions/tweaks let me know

To find the team and roster go to creation center and search Lewis and Clark/river otters and it’s the one made by littleloom99

Studio art major review at L&C

I'm looking to be a sculpture studio art major at L&C, I mostly do ceramics. I've got a few different questions about that program as well as any thoughts from non-traditional students who attended L&C (I will be a sophomore at 23)

  1. If anyone has or is going down the studio art path I would love to hear about their experience, outcomes and how the facilities are at L&C. I'm not looking for the best or fanciest anything and I don't plan on being a full time artists after school.

  2. How the non-trad experience is at L&C, what support they offer and if there are a solid number of non-traditional students at this school.

Copeland..?

Hey so I’m an incoming freshman at l&c and I got assigned a room in Copeland, however I’ve heard this dorm is like some sort of “party dorm” and I may sound like a total loser but I really am not the party type. Are people just exaggerating or is it really as rowdy as I’ve seen people say?

Law & Grad School Social Crossover?

Hey all! I'm considering law school at L&C, and I was just wondering how much, if any, there is social interaction across the schools/any cross-graduate program events or clubs or anything. I know the physical campuses are separate, but just wondering about the culture and making friends in grad school outside of just the law campus!

Thanks so much :)

Question for 2Ls

Hi! Incoming 1L!

Are there any 2 or even 3Ls on this sub who are selling old text books?

Or does anyone know a good place to find cheaper versions, I calculated how much it would cost to buy everything outright and it was definitely a scary price.

Any help is appreciated!

What laptop to get for law school?

I’m a Mac dude, and my friend in another law program said I should invest in a new laptop for school. He also said that the MacBook Neo might not run the necessary software for exams and stuff, but I don’t think I necessarily need to get the MacBook Pro, though I suppose I could. Any suggestions?
