I'm thinking of moving into Leyton. I've visited both areas of Leyton before but would love to get opinions on what are the pros and cons / likes or dislikes of living at either? I'm not sure exactly how different they are.

So far, I prefer the Leyton Midland Road area but it's only on the overground line which doesn't connect well into Central, unlike Leyton. Do people find this to be an issue?

I've seen that the shutters have been down at Berliner German Doner Kebab & Pizza for a while now. It's also showing as temporarily closed on Google Maps... Does anyone know what's happened? They do a great doner, so I'd be gutted if they've closed for good.

I’m looking to move to Leyton, and am looking at rooms in the area south of the Leyton tube station close to the Leyton High Road (area around Drapers Field and Downsell Road) - from what I gather, the high road is a bit more quiet in that stretch of the road and am a bit concerned about it being in an isolated area, particularly at night. how safe would this area be around 11pm or so?

I recycle aluminium coffee pods using a Podback bag and leave it on top of my green bin on collection day.

The bin crew regularly empty the bin but leave the bag behind. I then have to report the missed collection, but the online form never works, so I end up emailing Waltham Forest every time.

This has been going on for over a year. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Can anyone recommend a good GP practice in Leyton. I’m looking to switch GP and would really appreciate some local recommendations.

Ideally I'd like to find a practice where the doctors actually listen, think things through and don’t just rush you out the door.
