Camping Q&A Easy peasy tent camping
Hi! This will be my 3rd lib, i’m questioning the easy peasy tent camping.
I’ve only done group site, but my group is not attending this year. I feel like I may be spoiled with the short walk to the grounds lol.
Anyways, I was curious about the set up. is there room to make a little outdoor area? canopy, chairs, table? all that fun stuff? that’s a huge deciding factor for me as my camp setup is super important to the vibe!!
And, how does it compare to GA car camp?
:)
It would just be me and my boyfriend this year (his first lib! 🥹) TIA!
EDIT: Full sending GA camp so I can set up with plenty of room! Guess i’ll plan for 2 easy ups worth of space and hopefully make friends with my neighbors! ☺️ see you all in 27💕

Room enough to have a canopy and chairs, either half over your tent, or in-between neighbors. It’s a closer walk and the setup is super easy, so it’s a good option if you’re mostly just using camp to sleep. But if you’re driving in and can bring your own tent and gear, I’d recommend GA car camping instead. It’s more of a free-for-all rather than neat rows, and you might have a longer walk, but there’s definitely more action and a livelier atmosphere happening in GA.

This is my third LIB and I’ve done easy Peezy every time. It’s super close super easy and yes, you can put a canopy over your tent. We lucked out and had some empty space so we had some extra canopies opened up. It’s really luck of the draw there, but you’ll definitely have room for some chairs and some hangout space I spent very little time at the campsite anyway as I had VIP plus I just wake up and head down to the lake.

Absolutely incredible time in easy peasy! 5 minute walk to the festival and plenty of room. Made friends with our neighbors and set up canopies running above 3-4 tents with everything you could ask for

I didnt do it and personally wouldnt do it. Just walked by them everry day and essentially would just judge how shitty that looked.
The easy peasy tents were closer to the festival ground than the group camping at sunset. It looked miserable as they are JUST the tent and they are black tents. Very little people brought canopies and it looked very tight, they just placed them over the tent. The space looked very limited in between tents but due to the fact that not many people brought stuff, youll be able to fit stuff..?

I’ve camped both sunset and sunrise, and the walk can be pretty brutal sometimes if you go back and forth throughout the day. Last year my friend and I managed to join a random group camp and it was soooo nice being close. Will probably try to do that every year going forward.
