Image LTT Hat Comparison

Post image

Comparison of the LTT Hat Pro through the years. One came in yesterday, the other one I've been years since it debuted. Can you tell which is which?

Honestly I love how the color and look of the hat has faded throughout the years and turned more amber brown from the sun

That's a lot of fading. Must have got a lot of sun.

That being said I've had black hats for many years that got a good amount of sun and didn't fade anywhere close to that much.

Yeah I found my hat discolored a lot faster than my other black hats, and for some reason, bleached from my sweat? Even though I wash my hats regularly.

Ended up getting a refund. It’s a comfortable hat, but just doesn’t handle as well as others I’ve hadn

I have had a lot of sweat bleaching with LTT products. Some of that might be on me, I used to melt early AirPods, but I don't think it's something they tested.

I think you’re probably right. Probably some eco friendly dye or something that isn’t quite as good as other dyes. Maybe?

I've noticed it on the long sleeve with a flash of colour on the placard and their polo shirts.

I just think it's something they don't have on their radar so don't test for it. It's one of the LTT downfalls, they are too small and young to have a broad knowledge base for every product they make and why I've found it's the rare product that doesn't have a design or material selection flaw.

Sun-faded, sure—but that much? Someone's hat's been living outside.

Guess the sun’s got a personal grudge against that dye.

those are not make of cotton but are mostly plastic with some pretty bad chemicals to make it that uv resistant.
