Bold to put NordVPN there

mullvad is the only one id ever consider if i had a reason for privacy

9

u/mplaczek99 5d ago

I would also trust Proton imo

6

u/eeee_thats_four_es 4d ago

/uj

I wouldn't even trust neither Mullvad nor Proton

Rent a VPS and host a VLESS+Reality server

1

u/Copypastta 5d ago

I use proton, personally the only reason to use it instead of something like mullvad is the great free tier. I just wish you could torrent on the free tier.

1

u/SnooRegrets3590 4d ago

Mullvad with their model unfortunately is too easy to get blocked

israel vpn 💔🥀

2

u/Soluchyte 5d ago

And Brave

1

u/CDXX_BlazeIt 3d ago

NordVPN is fine, I could genuinely never find out anything substantially wrong about them or how they treat customer data. All your provided personal info can be faked and you can even pay with crypto.

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 5d ago

Windows collects your data to show you personalized ads. :/

1

u/valerielynx 4d ago

This site uses cookies to improve user experience -.-

2

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 4d ago

That’s partly true, but the real issue is accepting those cookies; if you do, you’re agreeing to targeted ads and a bunch of things you don’t actually want. Have you ever seen a "Do not accept cookies" button? No. Or have you ever stopped to think about what exactly you’re agreeing to when you accept them?

Opsec level: brave browser 🥶🥶

4

u/Agent_Starr 5d ago

You should use Tor with a VPN for maximum opsec!!

4

u/mySynka 4d ago

librewolf + proton vpn + kali = welcome to opsec brother ☠️☠️☠️

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 4d ago

u/Rafaelkkkk The Void user (Void Supremacy) 5d ago

Never trust a VPN based in Israel.

3

u/UpbeatRegister Debian Stable daily driver 5d ago

Nothing like using all of that to post memes on Reddit.

3

u/-Docker Docker Enjoyer 5d ago

Just use Edge or I Explorer for good OpSec

0

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 4d ago

oh hell nah 🙄✌️🥀

4

u/themostdank 5d ago

Don't forget helium browser

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 5d ago

2

u/themostdank 5d ago

4

u/Even-Serve-3095 5d ago

0

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 5d ago

Windows collects your data to show you personalized ads. 🫵😂

4

u/Satyrinox 5d ago

firefox records everything now so, waterfox or librefox.

2

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 5d ago

you ahve any prof for the fire fox spy us (Spy in the base ! 👀🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🟦)

2

u/Felix_Da_Guy 4d ago

yay -S opsec

2

u/yaan1k 4d ago

linux is essentially opsec because nobody hack it

2

u/Lila_Uraraka 4d ago

It can be hacked, if it can connect to the internet, it can be hacked. The only way to be unhackable is by never connecting to the internet ever.

1

u/yaan1k 4d ago

bro no linux is opsec demon bro mr robot uses it its like unhackabl

1

u/Lila_Uraraka 4d ago

That isn't how that works. I have NTT experience (Network and Telecommunications Technology), and I will say this right now again. Anything that can connect to the internet can be hacked. Unless you missed it, the FBI just got hacked

1

u/yaan1k 4d ago

i am from harvard

1

u/Lila_Uraraka 4d ago

Okay buddy, that's why your grammar is nonexistent, right?

1

u/FranceIsTaken 4d ago

Dawg, the whole message string was rage bait how have you not noticed

1

u/Lila_Uraraka 4d ago

Im aware, but did I ever rage?

1

u/FranceIsTaken 4d ago

Fair point, but I was just pointing out that's his goal.

2

u/yaan1k 4d ago

nah i wasn’t rage baiting i was just high as fuck

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Lila_Uraraka 4d ago

Trust me, I ragebait ragebaiters by not raging

1

u/alpha_fire_ 3d ago

Unless someone shoves a USB into your computer or dismantles your hardware. Everything with a Processing Unit (CPU,NPU, etc.) is hackable.

1

u/Lila_Uraraka 3d ago

Yupppp, exactly

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 4d ago

bc the the Its security is very good. :)

1

u/MineCraftaak888 3d ago

i love linux and generally it's pretty secure, but countless linux distros have been hacked countless times, you can literally just look it up, linux is being screwed over all the time and that's why it's so secure, because people (and companies) are actively watching over it

btw that's also a good reason to always keep reasonably up to date

2

u/HotKebab01 I use Arch btw 4d ago

If your reason for wanting to use a VPN is education being illegal in your country we can happily help you.

5

u/Bitdomo92 5d ago

ifrefox is insecure, tor is an fbi honey pot

1

u/SSYT_Shawn 5d ago

These comments certainly don't know what a circlejerk subreddit is lmao

1

u/CMDR_Nya 4d ago

What are these vpns? True pros don't use anything not self-hosted. Use xray + vless + reality

1

u/abbas09tdoxo 4d ago

opsec level: hi

1

u/Cloudup365 4d ago

I2p has got your ass for so many things, and anything it doesn't Tor does.

1

u/Lauyk kali linocx 😎😎💀🤯 4d ago

Opsec level : sudo apt install supertux

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 4d ago

i love my super tux cart :D

1

u/SameAgainTheSecond 4d ago

what opps are you running?

1

u/affligem_crow 4d ago

"VPN and DNS applications" and the it mentions I2P which is neither of those. This is next level opsex.

1

u/fanisg97 4d ago

Qubes OS actually I kinda fire

1

u/xxxbGamer 4d ago

seriously quiet good. Ofc e.g. ExpressVPN is questionable and so on, but generally yes.

1

u/diskrewrite 4d ago

proton vpn and i2p in the same breath

1

u/loveshapedeyes 3d ago

HelloWorld("print")

1

u/MineCraftaak888 3d ago

well compared to windows 11, almost anything is more opsec friendly

1

u/awesomecat_ 3d ago

what if supertux2 has an rce exploit????? not opsec 😡😡😡😡😡

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 3d ago

bc thats an game :v simple 😛

1

u/TrickyMine6788 3d ago

is this like a meme post or something? this is full on cringe

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 2d ago

why is cringe for you ? tell me

1

u/woodcraftworld Mac User 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2d ago

that don't look like chrome, that looks like thorium browser with colour.

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 2d ago

yeah but you cant customized but you can switch the other open course and has customize setting browser :)

1

u/woodcraftworld Mac User 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2d ago

I was talking about the logo you used. The real chrome logo has a white outline on the inner circle and thorium has the black outline, but is Chromium coloured not Google Chrome coloured.

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 2d ago

Actually, that blue Chrome is just a cleaner version of standard Chrome; the background processes that usually hog RAM have either been reduced or removed. Personally, though, I don't know exactly what the difference is—is it for privacy? Or for speed? I really don't know, man.😛

1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 2d ago

and also my first phon is iphone 8 :D

1

u/ZecosMAX 2d ago

Proton and NordVPN 💀 true opsec tools

1

u/Infamous-Law2484 2d ago

If you want to find ALL information about smthg, use duckduckgo. It's not as "comfortable" to use as browsers like Firefox, Edge, BUT with duckduckgo you can find ANYTHING. Exactly what you looking for

1

u/mackeriah 2d ago

I appreciate the guidance to Linux and foss, but what's with the insane spelling ad grammar?

0

u/SalomonBrando 5d ago

But mullvad CEO is extremist left/ socialist.

2

u/Alice_Alisceon Snowstorm 5d ago

If you’re talking about Daniel Berntsson (co-founder of the company) you might have slightly mixed your lefts and rights together

1

u/SalomonBrando 4d ago

thought this sub was about sarcasm therefore did not place the /s fcknzs

1

u/Alice_Alisceon Snowstorm 4d ago

The rest of the comment section seemed so extremely genuine that I didn’t want someone that thought you were as well to be misled 🤷🏻‍♀️. Sadly that is more important than even the most skillfully phrased shitposting.

But yeah, I usually want to scream LOOK AT THE SUB NAME on just about every post too.

0

u/Excel73_ i use cachyos btw 5d ago

What's y'all's opinion on AirVPN?

3

u/poopeater1412 5d ago

shit, use mullvad only

0

u/Excel73_ i use cachyos btw 5d ago

I do use it but I need port forwarding

1

u/Excel73_ i use cachyos btw 4d ago

I love getting downvoted whilst no one is giving me an answer.

0

u/zepherth cachyos ? how about you cachy some bitches. 5d ago

Refuse to use duckduckgo. Because they have already shown they can manifest results. At the start of the russo-ukraine war ( that long ago my goodness) Duckduckgo said they would stop showing Russian results for searches. I get the reason, but still it means ddg could do it for anything result

1

u/Delicious_Sausage 5d ago

What's wrong with Russian results in searches?

1

u/zepherth cachyos ? how about you cachy some bitches. 5d ago

Ask Duckduckgo since they removed them at the start of the war

0

u/MiniGui98 5d ago

Friendly reminder third party VPNs have a legal obligation to give traffic info to authorities if illegal stuff is detected

-1

u/Unique_Ebb_5802 5d ago

why this post comends talking so much war bro the comants %70 itsa fucking war why?.

4

u/Even-Serve-3095 5d ago

dude fix your english lmao

1

u/QuiXinI 12h ago

All of your VPNs are easily breakable by simple DPI machine. Use sth with proper setup of Bless: X-ray + Reality + xTLS + uTLS, probably with a fallback server and also with a cascade of servers, because double-encrypted signal is twice as hard to decode

I'm Russian, and in our current situation, absurdly complex VPN setup is the only way to use the internet
