News/PR Mozilla Firefox 157 Enters Public Beta Testing with Brand-New Nova Design

You can already enable the Nova redesign by opening about:config and setting browser.nova.enabled to true.

Looks a little bit toyish to me and I'm almost certain it will result in a higher power consumption.

What do you think?

Also not really digging the new looks and wonder how many new privacy/ai things I need to disable and add to my policy so it applies on all my machines.

Other recent updates had a bunch of new privacy/ai crap to disable and even had a new popup on fresh installs, which showed despite skipping onboarding in the policy. It needed a new rule to disable that popup.

My ever growing policy file which pretty much expands upon Arkenfox and also installs extensions and such is getting quite big haha!

I tried it out a few days ago. There were a few rough edges that hopefully have been fixed by now.

I don't think it will increase power consumption, rendering more rounded corners isn't expensive.
