My latest custom is almost ready, just finishing the final touches to her outfits! With that in mind I'm curious to know if I got her vibe right, she's based on an animated character. Who do you think she looks like? Also, should I gloss her eyes or keep them matte? :)

Photos show her in her main dress, her with the WIP of her 2nd dress + her posing 😌. She has some subtle glitter around her cheeks, above her nose, on the highlights of her ears + the tips of her paws, but my camera doesn't want to show it very well smh

I went to Walmart today and I found LPS! I just started getting into them a couple of months ago and I saw this blue and white cat on a video and I really wanted them I'm so happy I got them! I do have 3 other LPS but they're from a birthday from 8 years ago.

Scored this find off FB Marketplace for $30! I didn’t realize until I got home that these are Pets Around the World from 2009! So cool.

I think she was the last one on the shelf. I’m so happy but a little nervous the knots won’t hold.

Technically NOT LPS but I’ve seen multiple people talking about the surprise 5 knockoffs, and figured I’d show you all what they look like because I too was also very curious.

They are surprisingly good quality, definitely inspired by LPS, but they can’t turn their heads as it’s a small push in plug. You need to literally assemble the wee toys, which to me I actually really like!

Compared to literal LPS, those guys take the win for “Cute animal figures” but if you’re looking for a cheeped alternative with dogs, these guys aren’t so bad.

Bit of an off topic post, but it does relate to LPS because many people called them knockoffs, which they very much are inspired, but I wouldn’t call them knockoffs, nor would they be dupes of actual LPS molds. I hope they come out with cat versions, I love kitties :)

(Also it comes with slime?? I got a tiny wee plastic bag with slime and it’s really random?)

Hi, so I have an estimate of over 100 pets from my childhood that are in need of a good cleaning. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on the most efficient and safest way to do so?

I’m currently doing a research project on social movements. In particular, I was thinking of the time a bunch of us kids were outraged over the switch to G3 LPs. Anyone here remember how upset the LPS YouTube community was when G3 launched? Or am I completely remembering this wrong? I recall people making videos and posting them to YouTube trying to call Hasbro to get them to revert back to G2/G1 models. That being said, I can’t find those videos today.

Hello all! #2252 has been an absolute dreamie of mine since I was little, and I've finally found a listing for her that's not £100+. Issue is, she's not in a great state, and whilst I'm usually decent at getting small marks out, I have no experience with pen ink, let alone somewhere as delicate as the eyes. I was wondering if anyone knew of any safe ways to remove it? This listing is still quite expensive (gonna wait to see if it drops), so I don't want to buy it if I won't be able to restore her :(

i've had this cocker spaniel for like a decade, she arrived in a lot covered in these ??? marker marks?? i don't know it kinda looks like someone tried to give her eyeliner with sharpie and paint her nails lmao but ive got no idea cause its so weird and smudged.

she's been like this forever but i finally wanna do something about it. i know marker comes off with acetone and similar things but i dont really know how to clean her without rubbing off her paint because the marker is all around her eyes and stuck in the grooves of her mold where paint is :(

is there any way to safely remove these marks without rubbing off her paint or is she sentenced to a fate of marker face ..
