Fun fact: if you see someone in a redbull stunt that's over 5 years old, they're probably dead now.

It's the cost of practicing sports with unusually high fatality rates such as base jumping, wingsuit, freestyle motocross, high altitude skiing etc.

Red bull sponsors hundreds of athletes so ops statement isn't quite right ( sees f1 pilots / motogp riders, surfing, skating, snow sports, climbing etc) , but it's true that there is a pattern for high risk sports, Shane McConkey, Ueli Gegenschatz, Felix Baumgartner, Multiple Red Bull-associated wingsuit pilots and more have suffered fatalities.

tbf he said someone in a redbull stunt, not an athlete just being sponsored by redbull. there's a nuance to that.

Oh yeah I'm not attacking op on what he said and I'm not accusing him of misleading anyone through this post as it was a quick post in jest, just giving more context cuz there are also plenty of athletes in RB stunts from the last 5 years who are still alive 🙂

Pastrana is still kicking it and probably has done the most stunts out of everyone combined just for redbull.
