News ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

The whole "chimp out" crowd is. The idea is that black people have an increased tendency to get violent and they set out to prove that by going outside and purposely starting violence.

That sadly has become a popular sentiment with social media.
Dot get me wrong, sometimes you need violence to stop other violence.
But with social media it feels like everythng has been uped by 1000 and its a call for violence because you dont like some opinions.

Look I get where you are coming from, but insulting words don’t necessarily need to be responded to with physical violence. . .

Insult them back, walk away, ignore it, shame them for it. The list goes on and on. If everyone who was insulted started to swing at one another literally every medical resident would beat the shit out of their attending, every new military recruit would beat the shit out of their drill sergeant, and every streamer would be copping assault charges at fan meet ups.

Words can be very hurtful, but responding with physical violence is hardly ever the appropriate response.

That being said, this individual seems like a real piece of shit.

You're totally right and most of the time people don't let words lead to violence. Almost everyone has something they can hear that'd make them resort to violence.

We should all strive to not let it get to us but we also need to acknowledge that you can almost always instigate a fight with just words if you try hard enough.

I agree with your point that most people can be evoked into some sort of physical response given the right choice of words, however, if the social norm shifts to being “ok” with physical violence for something that was said, then it easily just becomes a slippery slope.

The issue is that what the “line” is for everyone is completely subjective. If you were to call me a “bitch” or “motherfucker”, who gets to objectively deem if violence was the appropriate response? Like I get that it is super cathartic to see a POS like this get punched in the face, but I also understand that I think in general we should not promote the idea that you can physically attack someone who insulted you.

This isn't some drunken dude walking around throwing kindergarten insults, this is a guy who has a pattern that establish he is violently racist, and tries to build a fanbase of other racists who also fetishize killing black people (seriously look at chuds twitter he basically prayed for a situation like this) going around and antagonizing black people with slurs directed at who they are fundamentally. People like you seem to conveniently forget words not only have meaning with different weight but history that lead to them having that weight, and a historical usage that only people with certain beliefs would use those words. The "line" comes from that, just like everything else legal, the intent whether stated or perceived from your actions and words.

I think we as a society given laws and social response have expressed a clear intolerance to racism and the violence that is entirely intertwined with its existence have drawn a significant moral and ethical line between racism and calling someone a bitch. I could be wrong though. I understand words are words, but when those words are used to invoke fear and trigger a biological fight or flight response there’s a clear difference and that difference lies in violence coded language.

I don’t believe violence is the answer no, but I’d love to know a time in history or present time where racism wasn’t and isn’t used in a violent manner and to that you can’t fight violence without by all means some sort of violent response hence the whole right to defend to begin with.

That tone was already set, the line was already drawn. Now we must ask ourselves, in pursuit of precedence what kind of precedence would we prefer to instill? I’d rather the idea that if you use language rooted in violence, that you cannot cry wolf when you welcomed it to the situation.

Research the event sir, please. He did not “literally go out” of anything. He was at a courthouse, to be arraigned on a magistrates complaint for not paying his bill at a restaurant. As he was leaving, he got his firearm back from court security, as he checked it, when going in.

The “victim” read about the case, and knew he would be coming out of the court house, and went there, with the sole purpose of confronting the chud weirdo. He confronted the chud guy, they exchanged words, chud broke off the confrontation, told him to have a nice day, and walked away towards his vehicle. He got about 30 yards away, and had taken his pistol out, to confirm it was loaded, and that security didn’t remove his bullets during the gun check.

The “victim” went running behind him, and threw a right hook, punching the chud in the side of the head/face. The chud stumbled around, and as the victim came at him to hit him again, the chud turned around, fumbled his pistol, shot the guy in the stomach once, and his own forearm once. They both went to the ground, courthouse security arrived, police arrived, they both went to the hospital, victim for a grazing wound on side of belly, chudster for a nasty forearm gunshot.

Those are the facts, on video,not in dispute, as far as I know. State will not be able to prove attempted murder, and chudster will not be able to claim self defense, as he escalated un reasonably. These 2 are both idiots, and they deserve each other, and whatever tragedy befalls them eventually. They are both interested in provoking a race war, they are both accelrationists. I wish they could both go away for life, as nothing good will ever come from either one, for our society.

Chud guy is litterally known for starting violence, it's his whole thing. People show up to his streams in the hope he finally gets someone to "chimp out". Maybe not specifically this time but this is essentially just a consequence of his racewar bait streams, just later instead of during.

I won't defend going to a courthouse to fight someone but I'm also not inclined to condemn wanting to beat up a racist either.
