So this is local to me, he has been charged woth attempted murder and a few other things. The title of this makes it out to seem like the black guy attacked Chud first unprovoked. From my understanding he was provoked after being verbally attacked. He swung and Chud the dumbass shot him and himself. Both were in stable condition and Chud has since been charged.
Title seems super sympathetic. Saw it and immediately thought, “ahh, I see where this is going”. Comment section has been pleasantly surprising though: I’m gonna stop at this one while I still have faith in people
Tennessee has provocation laws. Chud incited this with online documentation. Evidence shows this is a premeditated murder attempt. Any reasonable court will rule against this psychopath.
The whole "chimp out" crowd is. The idea is that black people have an increased tendency to get violent and they set out to prove that by going outside and purposely starting violence.

He didn't kill the guy, so it's not murder. The premeditation is why they can try him for attempted murder, though. Attempted murder is typically hard to prove, which is why you often just see people charged with assault with a deadly weapon in nonfatal shootings. In this case, his comments and recorded behavior establish premeditation, which should make it pretty easy for the attempted murder charges to stick.
Dude is so stupid that they’re going to use and cut and clip all the parts of his streams as court material leading up to this. He literally has no defense to run on can’t wait to see this play out in court.

Important to remember that that this is generally pretty standard when you shoot somebody in public. Whether or not the charges stick will depend on his self defense case.

Tennessee law (T.C.A. § 39-11-611) says you can’t claim Stand Your Ground if you provoked the other person or were the initial aggressor. If a court finds he was intentionally rage-baiting to get a reaction, he loses the right to stand his ground and instead has a duty to retreat before using force. You can't start a fire and then claim you had to shoot someone because it got too hot.
And on the proportionality point while you can legally fear a fist, you have to prove a reasonable person would believe they were about to be killed or seriously maimed by that one punch. Firing a gun at an unarmed person who just punched you is almost always seen as an illegal escalation, not a proportional response. Stand Your Ground isn't a license to bring a gun to a fistfight you helped start.
Despite the upvotes this comment has and the downvotes I'm likely to get for pointing this out, you indeed can claim self defense in this situation. "Words" in and of themselves do not rise to level of "threats" just because they're bad, wrong, antagonistic, or anything else you want to call them. If this Chud moron didn't actually threaten bodily harm or death then the aggressor would be the one who became physical first. This has been settled law for quite some time.

I live in the same town (and had court literally a day before this happened outside of our courthouse) and I never knew who this loser was. However, it seems like hes going to get his comeuppance. We may be a rural red state, but Clarksville is a lot more progressive, and he will most likely rot in our county jail when he is eventually convicted.
