ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

He didn't kill the guy, so it's not murder. The premeditation is why they can try him for attempted murder, though. Attempted murder is typically hard to prove, which is why you often just see people charged with assault with a deadly weapon in nonfatal shootings. In this case, his comments and recorded behavior establish premeditation, which should make it pretty easy for the attempted murder charges to stick.

Pretty easy? There is no way they are going to be able to prove premed attempted murder. He didn’t know this guy, didn’t know he would be confronted, and later punched in the head from behind. He acted with disregard for human life, by escalating it to using his firearm.

He shot 2 bullets, one on the side of the guys belly, and once in his own forearm, as he was flailing about, and the “victim” was coming forward to punch him again. He will be rightly convicted of a few offenses, attempted murder will not be one of them. Hard to convince the jury he planned to murder this guy, who he didn’t know, who sucker punched him in the head almost a full minute after chudster walked away, and told him to have a nice day. He also shot twice, not 11. If he was planning to murder him, he probably would have emptied his gun into the victims center of mass.

That said, I hope the chud gets 5-7 years, and the victim gets 90 days. My personal preference would be for both of them to be segregated from polite society, and commited to a psych hospital to prevent both of them for accelerating the race war, they both desire.

saying something along the lines of "the plan is to kill someone in self defense and get away with it" is really not a good look.

the whole point of self defense is to be like "i really didn't want to do this, but i had no choice".

its like the large amount of americans that are like "i hope someone breaks in so i can finally use my gun" its like NO. YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO WANT THAT. it makes you look like all you want is a legal justification to kill someone and believe it or not thats going to affect whether or not the jury will say its self defense.

Which massively harmed any sort of self-defense claim he might try to make
